It's not an order, but everyone could do with some improving. Some of the stuff I've written here has been based on me! (I used to be really bad at this.)

How To Make Your Posts Interesting

-Let us see your character's thoughts. Psychology is interesting. I want to see their fears, their reactions to strangers, their nightmares and dreams, their likes and dislikes.
-Good word choices, especially descriptive verbs and adjectives. Let me see, hear, taste, feel what you're doing. Imagery makes books good (and good books better).
-Emotion. Don't just state it outright, though, make me FEEL it. Make me shiver when they're scared. Make me smile when they're happy. Don't just state "I'm scared" outright without some internal thought process to back it up.
-Dynamics. Also known as change, for those not up to date on their music/fiction vocabulary. Your character will grow over time. Opinions will change. Friendships will be forged and broken. Fears will be conquered and taken on. Take me with you on that journey.
-Anything that would make your English teacher stamp a smiley face on your paper. Give me metaphors and similes, personification, allusions, logic, and, again, LOTS of imagery.

Your posts don't have to be a novel. However, if I were to turn them into one, make it be a book I wouldn't regret picking up.
