Small correction: the term is 'Godmodding' or 'God modding', as in, godly modifications to the role playing. But yes, I agree with Vol and Glass - killjoys are, generally speaking, not in the best shape. Not only are we starved, sleep deprived, and frequently injured, we've also been living in radioactive wastelands. The Dracs, crows, and exterminators are better trained, better armed, better clothed, better rested and fed... etc. Besides, think of it as if you were writing a book. Which is more fun to read, a few paragraphs of intense, involved fighting, or "I shot him in the face."?

This is fantastic Vol! I remember me and Burbank (with the help of Arson, Poison and Retro to name a few) coming up with those rules. The main things we wanted to get across to people that were joining was that this site is a community. We work together, respect each other and be as creative as we can be. Its great to know that idea it has been taken on by everyone that posts :-)

I did mention that rants might be included, right?

Lesson Nine: The Walled City
Okay, apparently some of you people don't read the news header, or any Battery City centric threads. I know this because I still see a bunch of people just walking into Battery City with nothing more than white clothes and a fake name to protect them from being revealed as a Killjoy and thrown out. I cannot stress this enough: THIS. IS. NOT. OKAY. Better Living is not stupid. as you can see if you spare a second to look at the news header on the forum index. This security includes better checkpoints. The checkpoint operators WILL check for ID, which Killjoys won't have. Fake IDs will probably not work, since I assume BLI would be smart enough to develop a database to tell what's real from what's fake. Of course, the system has never been thoroughly described, so technically, I don't know how it works. However, I DO know that Battery City is implementing a better checkpoint program, and that there are cameras pretty much everywhere. If a Killjoy's in their city, they'll know.
Did you somehow manage to get over the wall? Wow. Either you're a ninja or you've found one of the very scarce, well hidden ladder-esque entrances made by Killjoy sympathizers. Either way, good for you! You're inside. Mind the cameras, which just saw you entering. They know you're there illegally. Sooner or later, a patrol is going to be scrambled. Oh, you took out the whole patrol? Well, you need to read my last lesson, which focused on godmodding and how it's against the rules and should constitutes a banning.
So next time you try to get into the city, you manage to disable the camera somehow. That's awesome! You must be either a good hacker or a good shot. However, in the Tower, they'll know something's wrong when their feed goes to static. Anyway, there are other cameras. You put it on loop, you say? Wow, you really ARE a terrific Hacker. I applaud you. However, they'll know something is wrong eventually. And, again, there are other cameras to see you.
If this is just how the entrance to the city, can you imagine the security around the BLI Tower, the most targeted and most important part of the city?
Yeah. Don't underestimate Battery security.
