Don't die in a ditch. You literally play so many characters that your death would take away about one tenth of the accounts that people actually use. But seriously: you can be typing on a phone, an iPad, a laptop or a desktop and you still wouldn't have an excuse for knowing fewer grammar rules than my sixth-grade brother. (NOTE: our sixth grade English teacher is a grammar fascist, so we learned early. But you guys really should know this stuff by freshman year of high school at the LATEST.)

Lesson Eight: I Don't Seem To Remember You Becoming Batman.Have you guys ever heard the term "godmoding"? It's essentially turning into a godlike character who either has superpowers or the ability to instantly kill anyone he sets his eyes upon. Usually both. (This may not be the real definition but that's how I understand it.) The second part of the definition, the instant, effortless kills, is what we have problems with here on lovely Killjoy Transmissions. Technically, we shouldn't have this problem, as there is a rule against it: 10. Dracs/exterminators/ scarecrow are NOT easy to defeat. Those goons in the white sock mask are ok to kill out. But dracs and higher ups are far from easy prey. So, it shouldnt be as easy as BAM one line KO. Give yourself a little challenge, it's more fun that way anyway. So I honestly don't understand why I see so many people walking up to groups of Dracs or Crows and shooting two of them per post. Not only would they notice you from a mile away, what with the colorful clothes you probably have, but they are not that easy to kill. I literally went over this in the first lesson: if they're out in the field at all, they put up a fight after the first surprise, and it's probably a good fight if not a horrifically lopsided one that tips in their favor. One Killjoy can't take out an entire patrol by doing anything short of throwing a miniature nuke. A gang might do some damage. However (and I don't mean to offend anyone by this), just you and a gun cannot do nearly that much. No one-hit KOs, guys. It's against the rules. Some people do it so often that it might actually constitute a banning if we actually banned people ever. I know I broke that rule back when I had recently joined, but here's the thing about my early months: I outgrew them. I found out what the rules are and try my hardest to follow them. Some of you guys (who aren't reading this, because they're pretty much the same ones who still don't realize that LIT ROLEPLAY ASDFGHJKL)...I can't even tell if you've READ the rules. Sorry if that was mean. I just hate seeing people godmode almost as much as I hate bad grammar. Lit roleplay, guys. Tell your friends, and thank you for your time.

Nice title. XD
But yes, I agree. Although killjoys are tough, never die, aasdfhj whatever. Dracs are trained hardcore and have all these power medicines in their favor. Ultimately, they win. They're stronger, better trained, and are not easily taken down.

They also have bullet/laserproof vests, most likely. And numbers. And MUCH better training, as you said. What are Killjoys? Scrawny desert-dwellers who, by all rights, never seem to eat or sleep. So we're all exhausted and accidentally anorexic, and we still have perfect aim and can kill three humans at once. Logic.

Oh and you know what else? Has anyone, EVER, had to pee? No one ever has, I think! We never eat, so we don't pee...huh. Super humans.

Well, I don't think bathroom breaks are exactly RP fodder. We want to keep it classy. XD But either no one sleeps ever, or we have some crazy long "days". (Not that I can talk about not sleeping, seeing as my characters rarely do.)

This is true. I just find it funny is all. Sleep is for quitters. Honestly, though, a lot of characters have this Who-needs-sleep-i'll-keep-watch dealio. It seems like they'd be sort of exhausted. but I guess you need to be alert at all times..or maybe they just got used to it. I don't know.

I dunno. There are plenty of time periods when no one posts on threads; we can just pretend that all the characters passed out and took a quick power nap in that time span. XD Another difference between BLI and KJs: falling asleep at a desk in BLI is forgivable. Falling asleep on watch as a KJ means you and all your friends just got slaughtered.

Things are very different, yes. Also, sometimes the people at Better Living seem to treat killjoys as more of a nuisance (or a pest...but that's just my observation) whilst KJ's build them up as this great enemy. It kinda shows that the killjoys don't have the upperhand. Wanting to kill dracs in that cold-blooded manner juxtaposes being a super human. if you really were so great, BLI would be a minor problem.
I don't even know...godmoding confuses me. I just don't understand. :/

Well, to BLI, the company that CONTROLS THE GODDAMN WORLD, pockets of armed rebellion are just pests.
The part of it that confuses me is "Um, did NO ONE read the rules? Like, EVER?" Also, I'm a hypocrite.

My path of thought is if you give your character a crazy power you should also have that power be detrimental. For example Birdie has really good eyesight but only during the day. Her eyes have trouble adjusting at night causing the smallest things to freak her out. APC5 is a human who is controlled by a computer chip in her brain. Computers don't feel pain so she doesn't feel pain. That doesn't make her super human it is actually bad for her because she will be seriously injured and not know it.

I'm not talking about superhuman powers, although those are also, technically, against the rules. However, we've ignored everyone's super-sight and Sug's robo-leg for some time, so they're apparently not problems. I am talking about being able to take out an entire Crow unit with three posts and two people.

Well... Sub had the robo leg since the last forums. And the whole taking out hoards of dracs things I usually ignore because it just happens sometimes

That's exactly the problem. It happens a LOT. And it's against a rule and, frankly, really irritates me.
