So, Arson proposed two major arcs before. I think the pathogen arc (virus arc, tehehe) has more potential than the other, which would only really affect the Zone 5/6 dwellers, but either would work. Or we could come up with more. What does everyone think?
As for spreading out to NYC, Tokyo, and whatever other cities we would want to extend our influence to, we could technically start that in five seconds if we wanted to. We might want to plan it a bit, though, and figure out the rules. Will the other cities operate like the History board, where we can have a few extra characters so long as they don't interact with the normal Cali cast? Or will the NYC/Tokyo denizens count towards our four?

We also need to make maps of Battery City, The Tower, and mark out the hideouts on a zone map for everyone's reference. I am up for a collab on devArt with anyone and everyone regarding that. Give me a few days to do sketches. The contagion (virus) storyline is appealing (as is the poisoned supply truck storyline), but these are both very local story lines. I can see how we could expand the virus one, if the killjoys start migrating... I do agree that we need to plan out the different cities. I see each as having the same basic framework, but gradually developing their own cultures and attitudes towards killjoys. I want NYC to have a BLI pyramid. All Ministry Of Love style. XD
An international enemy might work as a mega-arc, actually, and as a way to introduce the other cities. Like, if the various BLI factions/Killjoy groups had to work together to stop it, then they go back to their respective homes.

That's brilliant! Pyramid it is! And, of course (of korse) you can! By the way, the latest Muse album (The Resistance) is totally the story of 1984. They even talk about the 'though police'. Makes me so happy!
And, Blackie, that would be awesome! I am learning all about how to map in Geo right now and I hope to use these skills to help make awesome maps for the forum!

Red, if you want some help on that zone map with all the locations for safe houses, I'd gladly help. I'm on dA as well.
I like the idea of a new baddie, especially if you wanted to spring up new cities. I know currently I have some of my characters technically heading east right now. Maybe they could be a good stepping stone for, say New York?
Hope I'm not overstepping my bounds here, but I'd really like to help. This is getting a bit addicting!

Hi, you guys. I've been having ideas.
...okay, now that many of you have run away in terror, here we go. I know that BLI's HQ is in Tokyo, and we're also adding NYC to the list of BLI-ified cities. Doesn't it make sense to have BLI cities (walled-in places around a central Tower, outside of which is a Zone system) all around the world? I'm sure I don't have a full roster, but some that I thought of were London, Paris, Rome, Moscow, Beijing, and Sydney.
After the list of cities, I decided to sort of rename them, like BLI-LA is Battery City. I ranked them in order of "importance" (judged by strategic location and the population of the surrounding area). Based on their rank, they are assigned a letter. For instance, if NYC was the third most strategic/surrounded city, I'd call it Carbon City. BLI-Tokyo is Alpha City.
My third idea was a sort of prison colony on a small island somewhere in the Pacific. I dubbed it "Omega City". BLI sends the really pesky prisoners there to be either "Re-Created" (like Wolfblood sessions) or executed. That would be where the Fab Four would have been sent if they hadn't been (sob) ghosted. Other than prisoners, the only inhabitants of Omega are the best of the BLI military, who are trained to keep the prisoners in line and/or execute them.
Good ideas? Bad ideas? Any input whatsoever?

I like it! I've always thought that there were other BLI cities around the world. That, or part of the world is BLI-ified and the other part is trying its best to go on with a "regular" mode of life and doing their best to ignore/gear up to fight BLI.
(If Battery City was really a testing ground and all the characters from other cities were 'plants' or brainwashed... O.O Craziest test of the human capacity to survive ever!)

I had a thought that there might be some Killjoy-operated "cities" too. BLI would have bombed any cities the KJs managed to take, but maybe they still live out of the rubble. The one I liked the idea of most was Alexandria in Egypt. They could build their own Library of Alexandria.
I'm not actually sure what you mean by that...like, if all the characters who came from NYC were actually from Omega? Might work in Vico's case, but Orwell doesn't seem like the Killjoy type. But you never know....

I have to agree with you on Killjoy-operated cities. What about Las Vegas for a Killjoy city? Its close to Batter City/Los Angeles, but yet would work with ideas like black market training and other things. Vegas always seemed to pop in my mind first as a more safe haven for Killjoys out of the zones.
I'm kinda loving this idea. We should run with it if at all possible.
