Have you ever had a great plan for where your thread was going to go next, but someone else on the thread changed the plan before you could enact yours? It's not always a bad thing, of course; it's part of what makes roleplay creative writing forums so much fun! But what do we do with those plots that never got resolved? It would be a shame to let them just die unfulfilled.
That's where this thread comes in. If you have any plot points/arcs/bunnies that you don't want to let die but aren't plausible anymore, you can share them here! Someone else (or a thread's worth of someones) may adopt it and your disused storyline will finally get some use.
(Be sure to tell me if this is a bad idea so I can delete the thread before it's too late.)

No, this is a fine idea. If this gets enough interest and people want to start fleshing out the stories, we can create a subforum specifically for plotlines.

I figure we could just use this thread for swapping. I don't think that it will become a raging trend or anything, and the adopted plots would be integrated into the threads where the adopter currently is. With the permission of their threadmates, of course.
SPEAKING OF IDEAS, here are some of mine: A character masquerades as someone who is dead/BLI to give his/her friend a bit more time with that person. A character reunites with his/her family and finds that a family member is on the opposite side of the war from him/her (A BLI member finds that his/her sibling has become a Killjoy or vice versa). Character is confronted by a member on the opposite side of the war who ends up making him/her doubt his/her beliefs. BLI SPECIFIC: Character is kidnapped by someone who demands a job. (This one is courtesy of one of my IRL friends who planned to join but never ended up doing so.)

STORYTELLER IDEA: someone who goes through out the zones to collect stories and memorizes them, so that no one will truly die (kinda like Farenheight 451). Is also really good at telling stories.

Idea: A civilian (Not a KJ or BLI agent) is caught between two people, a family member who is BLI, and his/her best friend who has become a notorious KJ.
Idea: The history thread, which has sort of died down and withered into non-existance...

The history thread would really be more of a subforum-type thing. I'm not sure how we could fit so much backstory (Helium Wars/WWIII, rise of BLI, development of pills, first KJs, etc.) into a single thread if we planned on using varied POVs. If it was a subforum, we could have battlefield threads, city threads, etc.
On the topic of cities: We use New York as a convenient place to send BLI characters when they're no longer wanted or to pull characters from when we need a past for them, but what is it ACTUALLY like there? Does anyone else think that would be a fun topic to explore, or am I just fat?

I think we could totally expand to BLI New York and even BLI Tokyo after a while. I mean, what if one city got mad at another? There could be all sorts of amazing killjoy/bli plots twists from that!

BLI Tokyo? Isn't that their HQ? Also, is anyone in the know about Japanese customs and stuff?
I only mentioned NYC because I know that Orwell and Vico (possibly among others) came from there and Sacramento got sent there. It's like a void of information. The only thing I can glean is that it's safer than LA-Battery.

Seeing that this thread is about story lines, do you mind me asking what's happening with the 'Bli-ers'? It's just so I can more or less plan out (mentally) what's happening with Midnight. Much love

Vol - Yes, NY is roughly equivalent to CA. The only special city is the one in Tokyo. As for Japanese customs, I suggest you ask the all-knowing Google
Bullet - the "Bli-ers" are doing what we do best: paperwork and meetings. However, as for how we might respond to, oh I don't know, an unexpected power outage, we'll just have to wait and see. Keep in mind, however, that we have two to three independent backup generators in the Tower. Not that the killjoys are aware of that, but there you go.

They'll need to super fortify the entire city next, as opposed to just the tower. XD

Idea, version 1: BLI releases some sort of contagion into the Zones, with the goal of alienating the killjoys from one another (and killing a few wouldn't hurt either)
Idea, version 2: Fed up with all the safehouses in the outer Zones (where it's harder to send units, but where there aren't any civilians so the killjoys don't have access to any food sources other than supply trucks), BLI stages several fake food deliveries, with poisoned cargo.

Both of those would probably result in tons of deaths; we'd have to make up a list of who wouldn't mind killing their characters off beforehand

I like those ideas, what could also work would be 'meeting' up with a random bunch of Killjoys, something like in the fight with gear, that way no one would have to kill off their beloved characters

You're both right - no one needs to kill off their primary characters, it's easy enough to make up more or just use nameless killjoys as background
