*to Gear and Angel* Hold on when I tell you to - we'll be making a sharp turn soon! *I can't go any faster, but I keep the gas pedal on the floor and within a few seconds we're entering the canyon* Five! Four! Three! Two! Hold on! *I jerk the steering wheel to the left and hit the brakes, and we skid into a small cave in the side of the cliff*

*I see the car turn and without hesitating I fire the second rocket and watch as the van hurtles through the air. A sense of satisfaction I don't understand comes over as I get up off the ground with the binoculars* *RB* You still alive down there?

(Sorry to crash the party, but could anyone possibly message me to catch me up on what's happening? I'm doing my own seperate post and I'm trying to mirror this timeline and events as best I can, but I got lost after Bunny's transmission "ATTENTION ALL KILLJOYS", so if anyone can help it would be muchly appriecitated. *rb* No, they're all gone but the bikes will be back soon if you don't get out of there now though. Should have seen that van hurtle through the air. It was crazy!

I loose my concentration and slide half way down before I catch myself on a small bump in the rock. I look over the edge at the ground down below me me* That wouldn't have been pretty... or productive... *I continue down til my foot finally reaches the deserty path*

*I motion for Angel to join Arson and me outside, then walk out into the canyon, staying close to the wall. Before I get too far I get a mayday transmission from a killjoy I don't recognize, someone out in Zone 5. It fades out pretty quickly, but I wave to the others to wait a moment so I can reply*
*rb Mayhem* Hey, name's Gear. We've got a car, gas, weapons, and food, and we can try to pick you up if you want. Fair warning, though, one of our group recently got picked for the crow's most wanted and we've got a small army chasing us down. Might not be any safer with us than on your own. *I put a hand on Angel's shoulder to keep her from leaving the cave, then jog out to Gear* Hold up a minute - why are we leaving the car? Shouldn't we try to get as far from here as possible? Especially if we're picking someone up.

We can still meet them, just not on foot. I'd rather not have to double back to get the car if we see more crows on the horizon.
