*I'm driving down a highway in Zone 4, heading for a safehouse I heard about a few months ago. Gear's singing along to the radio, and Angel's entertaining the kids, P and Murph, in the backseat. We had to pull off the road once to avoid a patrol, but other than that it's been smooth sailing*

Here we are, guys. *I drive through a thick patch of creosote and pull up in front of a rambling one-story house. It's pretty big, with wings going off in several directions, and has obviously been patched up a few times* Let's go see if anyone's home and whether or not they have food, shall we?

Food sounds good. *I get out, open one of the back doors, and pick up Murph* Come on, big guy, wanna go get something to eat? *I sit him on my shoulders* Tell me if you see any Dracs, okay? *He looks confused* Big scary guys in white suits. *His expression clears and he nods, grinning, then starts looking all around*

*I smile when I see Gear with Murph, then go get P. I hold one of her hands as we head towards the house, my other hand on my gun. As far as I know the place is safe, though, and there's no regular tenant so we probably have it to ourselves. I knock on the door, then go in when there's no answer. Gear follows with Murph, and Angel comes in close behind him*

*I reply without turning around, heading over to the couch and dropping my bag down* No, it's not really. It's a safehouse. Often there's someone who stays in a safehouse all the time, but in this case it's just kind of available. Whoever uses it restocks it if they can.

*still unsure, i take murph and p by the hand* i'm gonna try find some food *i go into the kitchen and start exploring. Me and the other 2 run riot around the huge kitchen, playing chasing*

*I leave my bag next to Arson's, then go into the kitchen. I scoop up Murph as he runs past and hold him up, growling* Where's my food?! *He screams, laughing, and points to the cabinets to one side, which he apparently chose for his own personal cave*

*i stop running when i see arson looking around. I quit the messing and start looking around for food. I snap around as i hear a crash. Murph runs into a wall. I fall to the floor laughing as he quickly and tries to pretend nothing happened*

*I laugh, then go over to the cabinets Murph had pointed to.* Let's see... we've got canned fruit and vegetables, some dry pasta, and a whole bunch of power pup. Oh, and a half-full bag of stale chips. Anything sound good?

*I join the others in the kitchen, and see P and Murph both make faces at the mention of vegetables.* How about some of the pasta, and some fruit for dessert? *the kids still look reluctant* There's a ton of sugar with the fruit, it's really super sweet, and your mom would probably say you shouldn't have it. *They grin*
