No helicopters? *I shout back to Gear. I drive around a boulder and hit the gas, bumping over smaller rocks and bushes. I drive erratically, hoping to make it harder for them to hit us*

[Funhouse Gear]

Not that I can see! *I shade my eyes against the glare and notice a pale spot up in the sky* Wait - nevermind, there's a copter coming up from the west! We've gotta find cover! *I keep shooting, disabling a second car. It skids to a stop and I cheer, waving my gun at them, but stop abruptly when I see the motorcycles they're unloading from the trunk* Crap... we've got bikes coming too, Arson!

[Arson Anthem]

We can't outmaneuver either of them! *I keep going anyway, heading for a dark spot on the horizon that I hope is a narrow canyon* Just try to slow them down!

[Funhouse Gear]

How the hell am I supposed to slow down a chopper with a raygun?! *I shoot rapidly at the motorcyclists, sending one of them flying off his bike. Another swerves to avoid my shots and catches his wheel on a broken branch. His motorcycle flips, and I don't see him get up* Two down!

*The car hits a rise and the next thing I know we're in the air. I hold on to the steering wheel as hard as I can, fighting the urge to hit the brakes. When we hit the ground I barely keep control of the car, narrowly missing a dead tree*

Shit! *I almost have a heart attack when the car leaves the ground, and the impact smacks the back of my head against the window frame. I drop back into my seat, black spots flashing in front of my eyes*

*I see the carnage from the chopper. It lands on a rock in a canyon and I give the signal for 5 dracs to leave from the canyon towards the killjoys to avoid suspician. There is a rocket launcher on the edge* I've always wanted one of these. *I aim and shoot. The whole canyon is immersed in dust as the rocket explodes behind the dracs. A lot fly from their bikes, the vans explode* A necessary sacrafice. *I take the radio out of the bag and throw the bag away* HEY!!! Anyone there?

Gear! *I look sideways at him but have to quickly look back at where I'm going* Gear, are you okay? *Suddenly I see another unit heading towards us from the canyon. Before I have time to change direction, there's an explosion from behind them and more than half are wiped out. I hear a voice from my radio, but it's too noisy to tell if I recognize it. I hit the transmit button one-handed and shout back* If you're a killjoy, we need help stat! There's three of us in the car, and at least four crow vans behind us! Where are you?!

*I rub my eyes, shaking my head to clear it* Fine, I'm fine... who was that on the radio? Do we have help?

*I cough as the dust hits the top of the canyon* I'm up top. Look as though there are, from what I can see, 4 bikes and 1 van. Scattering from the dust. How are you guys down there?

[Arson Anthem]

*to Gear* Dunno, but I hope so.
*rb* I can't see you from here, but we're heading for the canyon. We're not doing too good - way outnumbered, as you can see, and we've got - *I turn to Gear* Can you still shoot?

[Funhouse Gear]

*I aim back out the window, shoot, and hit the windshield of one of the vans* Yeah, I can still shoot.

Good.
*rb* - and we've got two people with guns, one of which hardly has any experience.

*rb* Well you only have the van now, the bikes have fled from the dust. I have one more rocket up here and if you cant see me, neither van they. *I pick up binoculars that are sitting on the ground* When you reach the canyon, count to 5 then take a sharp left, there is a small cave. When I see you turn I'll shoot again!

*I keep shooting at the vehicles following us, but I don't manage to take any others out*
