That's because the animals didn't deserve it. I'm glad you cried, it means you felt for the animal. No wonder they didn't like that, you were showing emotion! You'll never have to kill someone unless there's no other option. We'll try to avoid that if we can - I don't want you to kill anyone. If we get in a fight, Gear and I will block them as much as we can.

*I start out the window* they didnt deserve it. After that I was seen as different coz i buried every animal i killed. Mum was told to put me on medication but dad wouldnt let me take them

Good. Your dad was smart. I took the meds for years before I quit, and I don't think I had a single intelligent thought the entire time. *I turn onto the highway* Okay, so just so we're all on the same page, we're heading to Zone 6. We heard a general broadcast about a killjoy on his own in a safehouse out there, so we're going to go check it out.

Yeah, a place where it's safe for killjoys to gather and rest up. They're usually stocked with food, medicine, ammo, and the like. I haven't been to this particular one yet.

*looks at arson* Dad was a retired killjoy. He grew up with dr death defying. He was in our house for a while recently...... But dad never really stopped. He works *stops and thinks* worked... for bli *adds quickly* but he wasnt a bad person, he was passing info to dr d.... he believed he could help, he tried... Mum never knew. She thought it would be putting us in danger. Ironic huh? *goes back to staring out the window*

I'm sure he'd be proud to know you're fighting back now. *I sigh and slide down in my seat* It'll be a few hours before we get to the safehouse, so you might want to get some rest while you can. *I close my eyes*
