*I nod, not trusting myself to say anything at all. I was originally going to give an opinion, but I'm sure my opinion will be wrong. It's a bit critical of the unit whose praises I should be singing on high for saving me more times than I care to count. I can't insult them! (Nor can I trust Vico not to throw me out a window if I slip up and call him "sir" again.)*

Sorry, I'm just used to saying sir, the only person I don't call sir is my brother

Really? So you call killjoys 'sir' too? And little boys who pass you on the street? And junior trainees in the Tower? Rather strange, don't you think? *I look down, putting the finishing touches on my knot, before handing it to Angeline* Here. A little dragonfly, just for you. And don't be so keen to tear up your shirt next time, all right? It's rather disconcerting.

*I accept the little scrap of fabric from him to see that it's tied into an elongated shape with wings. Dragonfly. I'm not sure if this is similar to the real thing or not, as I've never seen one, but it's cute and I want to keep it.* Thank you very much, ah...Vico? *I say his actual name rather reluctantly, like I'm still expecting to be yelled at.* It's very pretty. And I won't do that again if it disturbs you. Sorry for doing it the first time. But I have a question...would you mind telling me if this looks like a "dragonfly"? I've never seen one before.

*I grin when she says my name* Good girl! And yes, that does look like a dragonfly. long tail, four wings, big round eyes. Between this long and this long - *I motion with two fingers*, fly through the air. Larva underwater and all that jazz. *I'm surprised she hasn't seen one, as she's plenty old enough to have been around before the wars. It makes me wonder if she doesn't have memory loss. Maybe she's one of those reclaimed killjoys. I don't ask, though. I might get reprimanded for tampering with her treatment or something - and though I wouldn't mind at all if it was Riley doing the reprimanding, I really don't want to lose my position in the unit.*

Oh. Thank you. *I look at the little thing, amazed that it's a knot and appreciating its beauty. Honestly, there aren't many things this pretty back home. Most everything is monochrome and a bit harsh to look at. I'm not complaining, of course, but it would be nice if everything was a bit less glaringly white...wait, what am I thinking? I shake my head at myself and slip the knot into my pocket.* These...dragonflies. They sound interesting. What is a larva, and why would it be underwater? *Now I'm curious. He seemed confused when he had to answer my question; is it something that most people know? Am I just being stupid?*

Rather strange, don't you think? *i feel my face turn a little red* no, just those who are older than me and who are my superiors in the tower. It's the way my brother kind of taught me. *i feel my shoulder start to ache and I shift slightly to take some stress off of it*

*The trip back to the tower goes by quickly. The pain meds I took probably help with that. My back and shoulder become a knot dull throbbing sensations. I'll have to actually visit the doctor for this one. What a waste of time... I flash the guard my ID when we get to the tunnel and soon we are under the tower again, in the cavernous parking garage. The tower security guards are already there to escort the killjoys and I see the kids being led in a different direction by educational personnel. I relax as soon as the children are out of sight. I didn't even realize that I was that tense before*
*I notice a group of white motorcycles parked in one corner. Aerith must have gone on a mission as well. I hope hers went better than ours did*

*I do my best to explain dragonflies to Angeline, and chat with Rachel and the others as well. When we pull into the parking garage I get out of the van and stretch, stepping to one side as the killjoys are led off. I pickpocket Angeline for one of her twist-ties when I recognize one of the killjoys and then snag the man's arm, spinning him around and cinching the tie into place around his wrists. I quickly undo my knot, pleased to see he didn't make any headway with untying it himself, and then motion for the rather bemused draculoid to take over again* I'll just take that back, if you don't mind. Have a good night! I hear our cells are the cleanest in the Zones!

*has been tracking Orwell for the past few weeks, time is running out to get this done, just under 6 hours, entered the city from the sewers, is covertly watching the group from a sewer crate*

*I climb out of the van, stretching my arms behind my back and groaning. Much too long of a trip after such an eventful day. I frown and glance around, watching the prisoners be unloaded and escorted to the cells within the basement of the compound. I look over to see a few members of my unit and realize I will have to pay very close attention to Vico. He's going to be manipuatlive and arrogant. After a moment I sigh and glance down at my bloodied and dirt stained suit jacket. I will need to burn this one. Wilson is off to the side and I walk over to him, scowling.* We need to discuss what happened today and what we plan to do about it. My office.

*manages to hear the exchange, checks the watch I made to keep track of my remaining time. 5:48:09, curses under breath, goes through the sewers to find a way to make it up into Orwell's office, or nearby his office*

*I nod* I have some ideas... hold on a sec. *I go over to the unit, telling them they did a fantastic job and to get some rest. I really am proud of them. They needed almost no instruction this time. The training was really paying off. We need to work on a more coordinated attack structure, though. I then head over to Vico, who is playing with some wort of rope*
I'll need to see you in my office later today or tomorrow, to talk about ground rules and exactly what you want to accomplish working with this unit. As a consultant, you don't have to work exclusively with this unit if you don't want to.

*I don't look up when Riley speaks to me, focused on the cord as I weave it into itself. When I'm satisfied with the arrangement I pull it tight with a quick jerk, then hold it out to him with a grin* Here you are, then. I'll meet you at 6:30 sharp. See if you can get that undone by the time I get to your office. Until then, I'll be occupying myself in the Tower, finding a computer to use. *I start off as I finish talking, walking backwards towards the elevators* I think my friend Miss Erikson needs my assistance. My consultant-sense is tingling. Later, love! *The elevator opens as I get there, and I swipe my employee card before hitting the button for the fifth floor. I think there's an employee lounge there, as good a place to try as any. As the doors slide shut I catch a glimpse of the look on Riley's face, and can't help but chuckle. He's so cute when he's off-balance.*

*I look from the knot in my hand to Vico and back again. Love? Is he from England or something? I sigh and put the knot in my pocket, ignoring the fact that I let him pick the time of our date, ur, meeting, and go back to Orwell. We head up to his office without talking*
*I start making a pot of coffee as soon as the door is shut* We can't bank on Max dying, Orwell, as much as I'd like to. He's much to tenacious for that. Should we send out another team? Or maybe flycams?
