*I smile again, but I don't mean it* I know Max better than you think, Mr. Orwell. I've worked extensively with him in the past. I am aware that the medications have little or no effect on him, but I am also aware that the Wolfblood treatments work partially on an implicit level, and that is the level that impacts him. A gun shot off next to your head will make you startle no matter your emotional state. The aversion imprinted by the Wolfblood program works as a similar knee-jerk reaction. And as for achieving total control -
*I have to pause for a moment when I remember the electro-shock therapy Orwell put Max through* I must say, that is extremely doubtful. Were you aware of the extent of his brain damage before you had that fool of a doctor attach those electrodes?

*I hear the anger in Belle's voice and smile a little. Nothing pleases me more than getting under that woman's skin*
It was either that or kill him, Miss Sacramento. What would you have us do? We are only here to make BLI better, after all. Now, if you don't mind, I'm sure we all have work to do. In fact, I have to go check on Red right now. I've started her training regimen again.

Making BLI better does not require permanently damaging its employees, Riley. If Max's performance is negatively impacted by what your partner ordered, I'll hold you both responsible. *I stand up, one hand on the back of my chair* But yes, we certainly all have full schedules. Jonathan especially - *I nod to him* You don't want to be late to your 9:30 meeting with the head of Unit 3. Comparing organizational strategies is very important, especially with a team as limited in numbers as your own. Have a better day, all of you.
*I leave the room, taking the elevator up and heading back to my own office. I know it was rather petty of me to mention the meeting, but I want to impress upon the men that I am not to be trifled with. Wilson may be versed in surveillance, but I've spent many more years behind the monitor than he.*

*I frown when she mentions my meeting. After she leaves I exchange looks with Wilson.* Who the hell was that? *I grab my suit jacket and fold it over my arm and begin exiting his office.*

*I follow him, explaining as I go* That was Belle Sacramento, a very powerful woman in BLI. Rumor had it that she died a few weeks ago, but apparently they brought her out of storage...*sigh* She has a history of outwardly appearing kind, but make no mistake, she's as ruthless as you or me. Belle is also planning something, I can tell. She never visits without a purpose...*I trail off as we enter the elevator and two other employees join us*

*My thoughts are not on organizational strategies during my meeting but my conversation with Sacramento. I am slightly disturbed, not that she disapproves of Wilson and I's methods, but that she knows so much about them. I think it over, contemplating how this could turn it out. I decide I extremely dislike Belle. The meeting lasts longer than I would like but when it is over I still have time to pick members of my team and make our way out to the zones. Looking at our small unit list I pick out 10 of the 21. Amongst those are Pacis, Mahoney, and the new member Morand. I want to see how well he does on zone patrol. I also consider bringing Red along but I do not want to upset her psychological stability at this point so I decide not to. She may remember things best left forgotten. I send out a transmission and at 1:00 we are geared up and head out.*
(Moving to the Lights That Blind Us. To the team that went with me: feel free to post about the events leading up to my encounter with IA. Just do it here until we get that point and then transfer over. Or not. I don't want to leave you all out.)

*I leave Orwell to his meeting and go check on Red. She is off in one corner of the gym, doing the gymnastics part of her training. She stops when she sees me and comes to stand in front of me. Red looks tired already and her shirt is soaked with sweat. I frown* Give me the list.
*She hands it over and I look over what she has completed* I notice you skipped hand-to-hand combat. Is there something wrong with the other agents?
*She shrugs and wipes the sweat off her face with her sleeve*

*I grab another cup of coffee and a biscuit and continue down stairs, deciding where i'll go while i walk*
Perhaps.. a bit of exercise will do me some good. If i'm going to be seeing him again I want to be fully prepared.
*I walk down the corridor and get into the elevator, it takes me down to the training room in unit 8. The doors open and I walk in*
Ahh *sips coffee* The smell of pain and blood. Goes perfect with the creamer in my coffee.

*I see Red tense and turn around to see Aerith sauntering in. I call out to her* Hey, Aerith, put down that cup of coffee and come over here!

*looks at riley and laughs a bit*
Excuse me? Put down my what? Are you Jokin? haha. *walks over* Aerith Lin how may I be of service? *salutes and slightly knocks my head back when it hits my helmet* I do always forget to take this thing off..

*I roll my eyes at Aerith. She always was a showoff, even if it wasn't necessary. That trait also made her very useful, as she was always ready for battle* Fine. I believe you two have already met.
*I hold up the list* Seems Red has not completed her hand-to-hand combat for the day. Will you take care of that, Aeith?

*I keep my eyes down, not wanting to incite either Wilson or Aerith. I'm already exhausted and sore from the exercises, but it's no use complaining. When I hear Wilson ask Aerith to fight me I get into a defensive position and look up as Wilson steps back. Maybe it is because the woman stabbed me through the side once, almost killing me, but Aerith terrifies me*

No problem, dearie. But you know how much i love my coffee haha *Steps into the matt with Red*
Alrighty then. Lets get to it. *takes off the helmet, letting the long wavy light brown hair dangle down, the second the last hair falls, I throw up my cup of coffee and kick the back of Red's knee, making her fall to the mat*
Come on now. Get up! *coffee cup falls back into my hand*

*Pain shoot through my knee and suddenly I'm on the ground. At that moment I get an adrenaline rush and flip to the other side of the mat before I get up and start to attack from a different angle. I throw a few punches for a distraction then go in with a straight kick*
