Bringing the Static

[Masta Destroya]

*pulls up to the building with Demoni in tow* Thought I saw a few Killjoys come here. Obvioulsy they do know of our plan. *to Demoni* Stay here, and keep watch for them. Any of them come out, use your dart gun to paralyze them. *gets out of the car, makes way into building, trying to stay quiet*

[Arson Anthem]

*On the roof, I set up the device and have Bunny check it. The sun's glaring off the sand down below, but I think I see a line of hills in the distance* Let's aim for those hills, and then we can move on to Zone 3. *We both start back down the stairs*

*hears them coming, hides behind a corner, takes a gun out* Just give me one.

*As I step off the stairs I catch a glint of light at the front of the building and freeze, motioning for Bunny to stop. We parked around the side, which means someone else is here... I mime for Bunny to go to the far wall and get ready to go down the fire escape, and I draw my gun. I don't want her trying to fight with broken ribs*

[Masta Destroya]

*sees the opening, makes way towards Bunny, holding her at gunpoint* Only two, huh? Better than nothing. *looks at Bunny* Good to see you again, miss.

*I aim my gun at the agent, only slowly recognizing him* Des? Aren't you Masta Destroya? Been awhile. Guess you didn't last as long as we though you would.

[Masta Destroya]

Wrong miss. That traitor's been dead for weeks. As for you two, I guess we know how you people found out our plan, futile as your attempts to stop us are.

[Arson Anthem]

Ah, so they went with the good old mind wipe with you. Classy. *I take a step forward*

*pushes barrel of gun up into Bunny's neck* One more step and your friend gets it, even if she is the mastermind behind all this.

*I hold both hands up* Easy there, tiger. Don't want to hurt valuable BLI goods, now do you? You forgot one thing, though. *I pause and barely nod to Bunny* She's a killjoy too. *Bunny suddenly ducks to the side and kicks the side of Des' knees, then jumps out onto the fire escape while he's distracted and starts down it. I move to stand in front of the window* Don't even think about following her.

[Masta Destroya]

*raises gun to Arson, aimed at her head* Or what? No matter what you do, I'll always find you. Especially Miss Cross. As if I didn't notice she's in the city. She should've hid her hatchets better.

I don't know who Miss Cross is, but - *I stop* Hatchets? Ah, so it's Airs. *I shake my head* You people are ridiculous, you really are. Anyway, I really need to get going. Places to go, things to do, you know how it is. *I fire off a shot, not really expecting to hit him, and jump through the window*

*shot clips my shoulder* Damn it. *runs to the window* You're all dead, you here me?! You can't stop progress, only slow it down! Even if you manage to stop us now, we won't stop!

*I jump to the ground and pause to shoot back up at the window* I hope the next time I see you, you'll be a killjoy again, Des!

*goes to shoot, but decides to let it go* Got bigger things to attend to. *makes way out of building*
