Maybe I was nowhere near as high-up in the company as you, and maybe I never had a chance to do any real damage, but I've been conditioned and I'd go back under in a heartbeat if they got me. But that doesn't mean I'm giving up - it just means I don't go near the city.

Who said anything about giving up? The zones need a new DJ and I need a rest from running. I'll let Skeets take over the zone 1 safehouse. He's more than able to find new killjoys, coming out of the city and bring them to.... well, he can handle it. 6 and a half years of running Arson, a break is needed. I'm getting old and tired and need time to heal... Cant be too long til the truth comes out about who's plan it was that has us in this position. You cant help people that dont trust you. You definately cant lead them

Yeah... I suppose so... *I get out, grab a signal blocker, and climb up to the top. I use some rocks to wedge it into place, connect a loose wire, and come back down* Where to next?

Sounds good. *When Bunny's back in the car, I take off, flooring it once we're on the highway and heading due south. Off to one side I think I see a trail of dust* Beattle delivery, do you think?

*I speed down the abandoned highway and notice a tall tree and some hills just a head of us.* I think that looks like a good spot to put up one of the conductors don't you think? *We approach the spot and the car comes to a halt. I grab the wires and rods. I look up at the tree.* Ill try and get this as high as I can. Muze can you set up the circuit board? If I tried I would fail epically. *I start to climb the tree and find a stable branch near the top. I wrap some wires around it to keep the conductor in place. I shimmy my way down the tree.* One down a couple more to go.

*An hour or so later, we've installed three more devices on two hilltops and the top of a tree, and are heading into Zone 4*

*A sharp pain in my ribs makes me involuntary lunge forward in the car. I take out some pills and pour out a handfull and take them. I put back on my mask. I listen to Arson radioing panda and wait for a transmission back*
*Finish another circuitboard and call up to Panda* Another one down. I'm ready to go when you are

ha tell me about it. They're not bli prescribed, they're the asprin gear gave me in the motel... Not that they do much for fractured ribs but anything is better than nothing, Right? Well... Within reason of course.

Neither did I to be honest but I dunno, that friend of yours has tricks up his sleve... As for how I freactured them, well I had a choice to either stand there and get shot or jump out the window of the 5th floor. Quite honestly I'm surprised I'm still alive. If not for Darwin, I..... *I go silent knowing he was probably killed for helping me. I go back to staring out the window* Stupid old fool...
