*I smile* That's great. And you're doing what I thought you were, too: adjusting. You know - or at least, your body knows - that the knife won't go straight out, because your hand's moving in an arc. You adjust for that by letting go at a certain time. It's the same with the gun; there's still a little bit of recoil, although not nearly as much as a regular gun, so if you only focus on aiming straight at your target, you'll be slightly off. So take this again *I hand Angel the ray gun* and shoot a couple times. Don't worry about aiming, just feel how it moves. Then aim at the target like you do when you throw your knives and see what happens.

*I approach the house from the opposite direction I started from and walk up to where Gear and Angel are practicing. P and Murph are still under the tree and apparently possessing all their limbs, thank god. I sit down cross-legged on the ground behind the first two* No one that I saw, although there were some old boot tracks about half a mile south. Don't think anyone's been here in quite a while, though, and I didn't notice any BLI cameras. So how's the training going?

*I glance back at Arson* Of course, the BLI cameras are designed to be not-noticeable, so... *I grin* Anyway, Angel here is excellent with knives, and quite good with the gun for a beginner.

um ok *i raise the gun, remembering what gear said. I shoot and get just under the target. I put the gun down and start jumping around* ahhhh i did It, i did it *i run over and give gear a hug*

Oh ok then *I take the gun and put it on saftey and carefully hand it back to gear* So what do we do now? I mean I'm usually in school for 9 hours a day so I'm not used to just sitting around

*I start to replace the gun in the trunk, then close the trunk and hand the ray gun back to Angel* Don't accidentally shoot yourself with it or anything, but it's good to have a gun on you at all times. I don't have an extra holster, but we can see about getting you one and a better gun the next time we're passing through a town. As for what we do next, not much. The sun'll be going down soon, so we should lock down the safehouse for the night. Come on, let's go see what we have in the way of rooms.

*I herd P and Murph through the front door in front of me, after carefully drawing "blueprints" of their safehouse designs onto the back of a gas receipt I found in my pocket.* Bedtime! Time to find your room! No, not that hallway, the other one! This way, to the right!
*They run down the hallway on the right, slamming into the doors at random* I WANT THIS ONE!!! *Murph yells, when he finally manages to get a door open. P immediately joins him, and since there happens to be a pair of cots in the room in question, I agree*

*I take the gun back, recheck the saftey is on and put it into a pocket in my combats and follow Gear into the house* Theres like a million rooms in this house. I dont wanna get lost...

*I go inside after Arson and the kids, and lock the door behind Angel.* Yeah, it's pretty big for a safehouse... I'll go see what's in the basement at some point... So now we check the windows... *I check the locks* ...and the back door... *I go through the kitchen, lock the door, and come back* ...and now we go find our rooms. *I lead the way down the hallway on the right*

Yes, I'm still running - sort of. But it is lonely out here. Haven't seen anyone else for a while.
