Shit, shit, shit, shit, shit!!! *I run into the nearest building, narrowly dodging a lazer beam to the face. Shit again. A house of mirrors. I make my way through the maze, turning every which way, terrified. I can hear the silent footsteps and the muffled breathing of my pursuer.* AH! *I shoot at him. The beam bounces off the mirror. It was just his reflection. I hear his hollow laughter echo.* This is kind of fun. Puts a bit of challenge up for me. *I laugh nervously. I lie and glance at his multiple reflections trying to figure out which one is him. I can see he is doing the same.*

*I see movement off to one side and force myself not to look. If it was a drac I'd be shot by now, which means it's either Retro or Gear, and I don't want Vespa to notice. I try to think of another way to stall but I'm coming up with absolutely nothing* So, Vespa, right? Er... how's the, uh... oh, forget this!
*I switch my gun's setting to stun and fire off two rounds, dropping down behind the barrier as she fires back*

*There! I spin and fire. It misses and hits the mirror. He sees me and shoots.* Gah! *I run through the maze, holding my arm. It just barely scraped me but it stings. I see his reflections move simultaneously, some disappearing, new ones appearing. I see the light of the exit and sprint for it. I step put into the blinding light and trip on the stairs I didn't see. thump. Face in the dirt I quickly roll around and shoot the drac that follows me out. I hit him in the chest and he drops down the stairs and lands right next to me, empty mask face staring inches from my own.*

*I step out from behind a dusty hotdog stand and start firing as well, hoping to catch Vespa off guard but being careful that my shots won't hit Arson*

*I crawl to the end of the barrier and jump up, shooting from the new angle. I guess BLI really has made some decent enhancement drugs lately, though, because she's pretty fast. One of my shots clips her shoulder, but it's not enough to stun her. I'm nearly hit by one of Gear's shots, though, because he didn't expect me to change location*

*I avoid the shots and sprint to another bit of cover, shooting as I go. I was never one for target shots, but I get lucky and hit her radio as she pulls it out*

*The radio flies out of my hand I fumble around with my gun in the other hand. My hands are involuntarily shaking. I put the gun down and I scramble to get the radio back. I need back up* Where the hell are those useless-

*I sigh* That's what I thought you'd say. *I reluctantly fire, and she falls backwards, stunned. I holster my gun, and pick up hers as well. On second thought, I take the radio as well. The dracs were obviously killed, but the fewer traces of Vespa we leave the better.*

*I put Vespa in the backseat. When I pat her down I find her ID, a pen, and two sets of zipties* Well these are handy... *I use the zipties on her wrists and ankles, then tie my bandana over her eyes and fasten her seatbelt. I wave Retro over when I see her come around the haunted house, and we all get in the car. I sit in the back seat, with my gun aimed at Vespa just to be safe* Let's go!

Yes, I'm still running - sort of. But it is lonely out here. Haven't seen anyone else for a while.
