*I look over the counter and see bunny turning around an isle* What's the point in this? You hunted killjoys too made it a game if I remember. *I sneak around the counter and when I get close enough I put my gun into the middle of her back* Leave or I'll shoot. Simple as that.

*I feel the gun on my back and smile* Go on then, do it! *It catches him off guard. I stamp on his foot and quickly turn and pushes his arm away he falls back as does the gun. He stumbles away* IF YOUR GONNA THREATEN SOMEONE DUMBASS, MAKE SURE THE DAMN SAFETY IS OFF THE GUN! How the hell did you get to 2nd in command of scarecrow?!

*I hold my foot and it takes me awhile before I can talk thanks to the pain.* Why do people always hurt my foot? Jesus every goddamn time someone wants to attack me its my foot. *I pick my gun up off the ground and turn the safety off then shoot her in the foot.* Is that better?

Awh come on... It must KILL you to know that those masters of your's would still keep me as HEAD of a department and refuse to replace me when I left. They jumped at the chance to replace you hahaha *I struggle to my feet and shoot, barely missing his head* you were saying?

They must be looking for you then. *I pick my radio up off the counter top* You'll be easy to spot in that car and I don't think you can run very far now that I've shot your foot.

Bli is done with me as far as I know. I was on my last warning so I'm done I guess. *I put my gun under my arm and hit the radio trying to find the clean bli signal* You know I gave Vespa a chance to walk away she made me shoot her. What I would like to know before you get revenge is why she walking around the city in plain site anyway? Is that my fault too?

*i stare at the body on the ground for a minute, with tears still in my eyes.* you killed my best friend, i should kill you *i pause for a mement* you don't even deserve death! *i kick his gun away as the stunned body is reluctant to move. I back away slowly, never taking my eyes off ame til i reach the door. I take the pump from the tank and speed off. Constantly checking the mirrors* should be enough to get me to z6. *i turn on the car stereo as 'bulletproof heart' begins*

*I start getting off the ground as the stun wears off* I should kill you *I mock bunny while trying to stay on my feet. I walk around carefully searching the floor for my glasses. I can barely stand on my foot or move my arm. I make my way outside and to the back of the gas station. I find my keys and try to think of a way to find Bunny or someone who knows where she usually hides. If I can't find her I'll still get to kill a few killjoys in the process maybe burn a few houses down. I can't help but grin. It'll be just like the old days when I started working for bli. I see the ambulance parked in the same place its been for days. I climb inside and start it up*

*I search the car for a map. I find an old one and unfold it. The zones boundaries haven't really moved much since it was printed so I should be able to find where I'm at. I hold my head in my hands for a minute. Driving in a straight line without much gas wasn't really a great idea. I sit in the stalled ambulance and trace the roads on the map.
I look out the window trying to match up the landmarks.
I stare at the broken road and all the sand before I tear the map up. It's useless. Everything looks pretty much the same. What's the point of a map? I regret not stealing a holophone or anything with a gps from bli before I left. I get out of the ambulance after grabbing some stuff from a first aid kit and I start walking. *

*Eventually I come across a building. There's an open sign hanging from the door and a few cars parked out back. I stand in the shade of the building and before I go inside I check to make sure my gun is off safety. I can't be annoyed with that again.
The building is cluttered with random canned food and badly repaired weapons. I can put more weight on my foot but I still have a noticeable limp. The way I'm walking happens to amuse the owner and he laughs. When I look up to shoot the killjoy I see he's wearing a crown. I stop walking remembering the pawn shop and bothering Atlas about bowties. I lower my gun and keep my comments to myself. I stop and look at the weapons that are hanging behind the counter. I finally find the sword hanging from the shop wall. * Where did you get that?
Found it. I'll sell it to you for a good price
*He fixes the crown on his head and stands up straight. Like he's proud to scavenge and steal. He's the worst kind of killjoy and I can't stand him. I don't say anything I just nod agreeing to buy it. When he turns to get the sword from the wall I raise my gun and put the barrel right under his jaw. I pull the trigger before he gets a chance to react. He falls to the floor and I walk around the counter. I take the sword and turn it over in my hand. It's more copper than silver. It's not the one Atlas got me.* Sorry. . . my mistake. Thought you stole this from me. *I pick up the crown and put it on* It's over and done with can't really say sorry can I? *I step back as the blood starts to pool unto the floor.* Yea can't take this back at all. *I check his pockets and find keys. I also take his gun just in case he manages to survive and in a way as a trophy. I leave the shop using the sword as a cane and whistling a random song.*

Yes, I'm still running - sort of. But it is lonely out here. Haven't seen anyone else for a while.
