A Shot To Remember

*I reach the sewer as an alarm screams from the tannoy system on each corner street. the broken cameras are still swinging around and flycams are everywhere all of a sudden. i jump down into the sewer* GODDAM BLI!!!! *I limp through the sewer*

*I'm climb out of the sewer at the safe house. There are people inside. I see the car that darwin spoke about. the last time i saw it, party poison was driving from that very spot. I slowly get in and a wave of anger and sorrow hit me as I shut the door* On to zone 6 so *I start the car and speed away from the house*

*I travel through the zones. People stop and stare as I go. faces turn from depressed to happy, just to see the car. (time skip) I reach z3 and notice how low the tank is.* Better pull over and fill the car up *i pick up the radio as i enter z4* Calling anyone in z4 that knows of a decent gas station. please respond

*rb* Wouldn't say its decent but yea its a gas station. I'm on the border of zone four. You should see the sign says Zeno's Zappers.

*i see the sign* Oh I see it *the voice sounds so familliar but i cant place it. I dont think any more of it as I pull up at the gas station*

*I look through the blinds of the shop and see the car pull up.* I shouldn't have radioed back *I go outside and walk to the car slowly. I knock on their window.* I'll only give you gas if you have money or something to trade.

*I step out of the car and start filling it, without looking at the owner of the station*I have money, or the head of a drac if you want it hahaha *The voice starts to annoy me, where do i know it from? I start reading a copy of 'Shiney'* How long have you been in the zones?

*I step back from the car some and make sure I don't have any gas on my hands before I light a cigarette.* How long have I been here this time is the right question *I laugh* Been here for a little while. *I look at the killjoy not sure where I know her from but theres something familiar.* I know this is a odd question but did you happen to work in the city somewhere?

Me? No. i haven't *I turn and look at him and freeze. I immediately recognise him and shocked to see him out so far* What, um, what made you come all the way out here *I try to act normal as my hand drops to my gun. I dont take it out just yet but i try to sus him out*

I heard you even needed help escaping, did they turn on you too *I shoot again and miss*

You know what's pathetic riding around in a dead killjoy's car. Must bring back nice memories of when you guys actually stood a chance. *I stand up and try to take aim at her. I shoot at her a couple of times before I make a run for it to the shop.*
