*I walk quietly behind Sylvia, trusting her to get me to wherever we're going. It's unfortunate that Red can't come, but she's still weak. She needs her rest, the poor thing. I wonder why Dr. Jarva looks so sad, but don't ask. It's none of my business, anyway.* Thank you for doing this for me. Would you like to stop by my apartment first so I could get you some street clothes?
((Seeing as we're leaving the hospital, should we make a new thread for this?))

*I walk into the hospital and almost literally walk into ms. Main and Angie* Oh hello you two, feeling any better?

Well, we're up and about, so certainly. Where were you? I didn't see you at all during the battle, Miss Mahoney.

I um, had some issues to attend to. *i debate whether or not to tell them about what had happened when I ran off* That and also ending up with this. *I pull the collar of my shirt down a little to show my scar* and please just call me Rachel, I call you Angie don't I?

*I watch them go before Dr. Jarva walks in. I can hear my hearbeat speed up a little on the monitor as he tells me he has a message from his sister, Sugar. Images ofSugar's fireworks dance through my brain, a sight I long to see again someday. A picture of her dead body, Orwell standing over her, flashs unwanted through my mind. I look at Dr.Jarva wearily*

*I smile sadly at her* I know you are tired and Probably dont trust me so I will sit over here. *I motion to the chair near sylvias bed* My sister. She... *I let out a sigh trying to find the right words* She told me to take care of you if i ever found you... and she told me to give you this letter *I pull a pink envelope with fireworks drawn on it out of my jacket pocket* I may be working here but I work for my patients not this company. I will take care of you to the best of my abilities If you let me.

You do? *I'm blanking. Mahoney and I haven't actually spoken for weeks, not since Morand showed up. Were we on such friendly terms?* Ah, well. That does look painful, though. Have you been discharged yet?

Technically yes, but Dr Brian is having me come in again in a day or two to make sure I'm all cleared. Have you?

*While Pacis and Mahoney talk I take a step outside the tower to have a cigarette and get some fresh air. City life is much more different than zone life. Part of me expects it to be like it was before: loud and boisterous, teaming with people. But now everyone has a look of uncaring on their faces and there's a sense of calm in the air. It's almost disconcerting but not enough that it others me. I wait by the bus stop for them to come out, hoping Angeline invites Mahoney on our... shopping trip.*

*I take the letter from him, carefully putting it on the side table. I'm too tired to read it now. As for trusting the doctor... I'll have to give it time. I've never trusted a doctor for as long as I can remember. Even Dr.Brian will agree with Wilson ever time. I wonder when Angie and Sylvia will return and what exactly a holiday dress entails*

*I look at Riley and giggle a bit and look away* I've been waiting you know. Of course I will. haha *I smile some more and look back to him* Pick me up at 8. Great! *I say too loudly* I'll just, ah, go now and... do something. *I head for the elevator, not quite sure where I am going*

Technically yes, but Dr Brian is having me come in again in a day or two to make sure I'm all cleared. Have you? Yes, just recently. To celebrate, Sylvia and I are going to find some dresses to wear to the holiday party. Do you have one yet?

I do, but would you mind if I tagged along anyway? I'd hate to have Dr Brian make me get stuck here in the hospital again

*While I wait I look across the road at all the buildings and shops. Of course there is an electronic shop close by the tower. I glance behind me and they still aren't outside so I get up and cross the street. I look through one shop window and at the advanced technology, realizing just how deprived we are in the zones. I frown, unable to buy any of it. There's a really nice white camera and I'm suddenly reminded of Red. An idea comes to me and I smile before turning away from the window and walking down the sidewalk then disappearing down an alley. I find the back entrance to the store which is surprisingly unlocked. Dumb. I sneak into the back storage room and look amongst the shelves for the particular camera. I manage to find it right as an employees voice get loud. I quickly sneak back outside with the stolen camera and rush to the bus stop, smirking triumphantly. Too easy.*

*I'm confused as to why she would come with us if she already has a dress. What would be the point, then?* You would have to ask Sylvia. I think she's right outside.... *I look out the door and, as I had expected, Ms. Main is standing a few meters away at the bus stop. I walk out to join her.* Excuse me. I'm sorry if I startled you. But Miss Mahoney is asking if she might accompany us as well. I wouldn't mind either way, so it's your choice.
