Nothing too special here folks. Just a simple killjoy trying to survive in this fucked up world, and trying my best to rid the world of Better Living Industries.
I go by Grizzly Kid out here in the zones. Back in the day though, my name was James Harrison. I was eleven when Acid and I left our shelter in our small town in Ohio. After that everything went to hell. After we left we ventured into the surrounding areas looking for anyone that was still alive. We found no one so Acid and I headed back to the shelter. We were met by the charred remains of the shelter. Devastated I made seven crosses for our families. Placing them near their final resting place. Acid still wonders why I did that to this day. He says if there was a God then he wouldn’t have let them die. I don’t know, all I know is that Better Living was going to pay for what they did.
We left. We left Ohio. We left our home behind. We left our old selves behind and our old lives. We were killjoys and that’s all that mattered to us then. We made our way toward Battery City, California. There was nothing left in the world. No towns. No Wal-marts. No nothing. Everything was gone.
In 2014 we stumbled through what use to be San Francisco when we met Nuclear Bullet and Venom Shot. We all nearly died in our “little” skirmish. Bullet had thought Acid and I were going to steal their precious Power Pup so he fired at us. On instinct we fired back. I made my way toward Bullet as Acid distracted the two of them. I pounced on him and held him down until he calmed down. We explained the situation and they apologized. They joined us and off we went.
It was not until 2014 that we came across another killjoy. She was in a sticky situation with the two Dracs that had her. We all had heard the commotion from the small store we had raided on the edge of Battery City and went to check it out. I noticed the Dracs and shot at them. I hit one in the leg and he fell. Bullet hit the other several times and he fell dead to the ground.
Her name was Toxic Panda. I was happy that another killjoy was in the group. We took her back to the diner and we stuck together until 2017. A raid gone badly resulted in Acid and I on the run and no contact with Panda. Thankfully she found us at the diner with her friend AE. Since then we met her other family and have been running since.
Remember, the future is bulletproof and the aftermath is secondary. Regret nothing and don’t let them take you alive!
Grizzly Kid ending transmission!
