My story is the same as anyone else’s. Better Living dusted my family, friends and everyone close to me. They caused all the hurt, pain and trouble in this world. I’m here to put a stop to it.
The names Acid Clown and I’m a killjoy! Ha-ha cheesy I know but hey that’s me for ya.
I grew up in a small town in Ohio with my buddy Grizzly Kid. Back then my name was Ace Williams and I never had a care in the world. That is until the bombs went off. My family and Grizzle’s stayed in our bomb shelter for about a year and a half after they fell. Grizzly and I would listen to Dr. D on the radio wondering what was happening out in the so called “Zones”. We heard something about a company by the name of Better Living but never gave a second thought of it. That was a grave mistake.
Tired of the cramped living space we left. Just got up, opened the hatch and left. I was only thirteen at the time. What I saw was devastating. Buildings that once stood now were crippled to the ground and the once green forest by our town was now nothing but a wasteland. Our families begged us to stay but we set off without a glance back. Months past and we figured we should check up on our family’s, but once we got back there was nothing but an empty, charred, hole in the ground. Burned alive by the ones who said they could “help” us. That’s when it hit us. BL was taking over and they had to be stopped. So we headed straight to the source. California.
In 2013 we met Venom Shot and Nuclear Bullet. We decided to stick together and have each other’s backs.
We reached Zone 6 and found an abandoned diner. We took refuge there and it was our home. In 2014 on a small raid in the outskirts of Battery City we came across two Dracs holding a small girl against her will. On instinct we all pulled out our ray guns and fired. One Drac fell dead while the other was wounded. The girl was a killjoy like us. Her name was Toxic Panda. She joined our crew and we came to be known as “The Radioactive Kids”
Years past and we all stayed close dusting Dracs and causing trouble. That is until 2017 rolled along. We were on a raid when the Dracs got us. We barely made it out, but the boys and I had lost track of Panda. We knew she could take care of herself so we reluctantly left the city. The Dracs followed us and we couldn’t go back to the diner. We laid low in the outer zones for awhile. Some business came up so we were busy for a long time.
Venom sold us out to BL and he left to join them. We were once again on the run. Bullet decided to go undercover and work inside the tower. It was nice to have someone on the inside. He was paired with Statix, Panda’s brother, he convinced him to come back to the life of a killjoy and he did.
Grizzly and I then left for the diner. It was abnormally messy and not how we had left it. We knew someone had been there but we didn’t care. We cleaned it up and that’s when she came back. Panda had found us and took us with her to meet her family of killjoys. They are nice kids I can say that and I’m happy to be working alongside them.
I may look like a twenty year old but I’ll warn you I act like a two year old all the time. Oh and a heads up, NEVER let me have a shit load of alcohol.
Stay shinny and keep partying out there!
