If someone was found dead and rumor says he was involved, I'd say yes, we want to keep this under wraps. I might be able to get you that access, Sandra, but it'll take a while. *I fall silent, thinking. Information as territory, worth fighting and killing over. Interesting.* Rachel - when you say you think you heard of him, were you getting information from him, or was someone else? If we knew how he contacted clients and secured payment, it could help narrow things down.

*I suddenly feel like I just said something I probably shouldn't have and talk quickly to correct myself. Anyway, if the Oracle killed a spy, that's not something bad, is it?* I never heard anything about it outside of that one time. I don't know. It probably wasn't even a rumor, possibly just a joke. I think someone said something about a Killjoy girl in another room. It's more likely that it was one of the rats, even if he was handing them free information. Some of them are pretty self-righteous. *I lean over Sandra's shoulder and point at the search box.* Maybe searching for the employee who got killed could turn something up? His name was...Colin King, I think. Either King or Kane.

*I nod, saying nothing. This Colin guy was pretty dull, nothing really hinting towards any sort of problems. He was a simple enough guy, preformed well in his field, praise from his superiors and such. In fact, it seems to me that the file is TOO normal. It strikes me as odd.* This is it? *I save the file. Obviously there is more to this than expected.*

*I look from Sandra to Rachel* How were you trying to contact him? Random radio broadcasts? An anonymous drop off site? If this Colin person was involved in information selling and managed to stay off the company's radar but was tracked down by the Oracle, he must have been using the same channels as the latter. Either that, or someone sold him out.

*My watch beeps quietly, and I glance up with an apologetic smile* Sorry, ladies, but I have to get going. Do keep me updated though, and I'll see what I can do about those restricted files, Sandra.

*I let myself out and head for the elevators, tapping out my afternoon medication as I go. I'm not entirely sure what this meeting is about, but if I'm lucky I'll get something to work with.*

*I close my eyes again to try to remember* if i remember correctly, it was a transmission. i had heard about someone who might give me information that i was looking for through the grapevine. then it was just a matter of contacting him

If you transmitted to the Oracle, do you still have his radio code? *I spare a thought for all the work I have yet to get done before I return to being intrigued about the Oracle. Even Vico's sudden leave-taking barely fazes me.* I don't know, maybe someone could figure out how to trace the signal or something if he uses it?

No sorry. About a week after the transmission I sent him, I tried again but he must have used a different code because I couldn't find him again

Well, this Oracle is certainly a tricky bastard, isn't he? Almost makes you wonder if he was once a Killjoy or something; they certainly have a similar kind of craftiness. This Oracle must have a lot of carbons, to buy a new radio every week. He also had access to the cameras, apparently. And the intercom system. *I'm thinking back to the Killjoy break-in now. When they knocked out one of the power grids, the Oracle disappeared. Unfortunately, the one that conked out was the one that powered the most populous civilian areas, which also happens to house most Tower employees.*

*I stand there in silence, not really knowing any decent information on this "Oracle" person.* I know this might sound like a crazy idea, but following the thought of mabye he was a Killjoy, if we was to try and contact him we could take a "Killjoy approach", like graffiti or mabye there's a code or something?

You want us to deface our own city, Miss Grey? *I stare at her, shocked that she would even suggest such a thing. There must be more Killjoy left in her than I thought....* We would never get permission to do that.

*I look from Grey to Pacis. I bite my lip, keeping my opinions to myself. I do, however, want to add to the little conversation.* Well. I believe he is neutral. He helped both, er, sides, and is not favoring one or the other. A somewhat dangerous position, but it seems to be a game to him. But, since killjoys utilize him, they most likely know how to contact him. Perhaps it is common knowledge out in the Zones. *In fact, I am willing to bet on it. But as Miss Pacis said, trying to befriend killjoys for information isn't really protocol..*

I believe I heard over my radio a moment ago that a killjoy had been apprehended and was brought to the tower to see Mr. Wilson, perhaps we could get something from him or her when mr Wilson is done with them.

*I look over at Pacis.* Oh god no, not us. I'm talking about previous times. It would make more sence that Killjoys could contact him easier, it's less likely they'd try and well, basicly do what we're doing now. *I giggle to myself.* I like your idea Mahoney.

Her idea may very well work out for us. Of course, then the Killjoy will need to get Better. *I smirk at the thought. It's always nice to fix them.* Now, I really should get back to work....
