*Sprinting as fast as I can despite my jelly legs, trying to escape* "Get back here, you piece of filth!" Ah crap, that damned drac was right behind me. She doesn't even sound out of breath, and I'm practically suffocating. *I try to run even faster, almost falling when the sand next to my foot explodes from a laser bullet* "Stop and surrender now, desert rat!" *I keep running, taking my mini radio out of my pocket and finding the frequency for the warehouse* "Astro, she's found me, I don't know ho-" *I feel an explosion of pain in the back of my left calf and I fall to the ground screaming in agony, keeping my finger on the 'transmission' button* "You stay away from me, you zombie!" *The drac stands over me, blocking out most of the sun and makes a horrible grating sound I know to be her laughter* "Well, I see you've made contact with that idiotic sister of yours, let's give her something to really listen to shall we?" *I glare at her, pure hate seeping out of every pore of my body* I hate you, you evil, soulless draculoid, you're nothing better than an empty shell. You make me sick. *She pulls the radio from my hands and speaks into it, keeping her gun aimed at my face* "To the one we know as 'Astro Zombie', we are taking your sister away for-" *She pauses and smirks at me from behind her half-mask* "Questioning. I hope you will be joining us shortly." *She breaks the back of the radio off, pulls out the microchip tracker inside it and puts it in her pocket before stamping on the radio* "Let's go, you worthless piece of dirt." *She takes a needle and syringe from the pocket inside her white coat pins me to the ground, using the pain from my bleeding leg against me, and injects a sedative into my blood.* * I pass out.*

*I hear a transmission coming through the warehouse radio* "Astro, she's found me, I don't know ho-" *I run over to the radio as she screams and I hear a lot of static* "You stay away from me, you zombie!" *I hear a horrible noise and think it's the radio breaking up* "Well, I see you've made contact with that idiotic sister of yours, let's give her something to really listen to shall we? To the one we know as 'Astro Zombie', we are taking your sister away for-" *I hear the drac pause*"Questioning. I hope you will be joining us shortly." *The radio goes dead and I curse* Dammit, Bandido I told you they were all over the place today... *Stands in front of the radio deep in thought*

*I wake up in a pitch black room and see nothing around me in the darkness. I try to call out but my throat is as dry as sandpaper.* *Radio static* "You are finally awake, desert scum. Welcome to your new life. We will give you a physical examination, determine which course of medication you require and help you on your way to a better way of living." *Static* Ah crap. *Flashbacks of the last few days, me and Astro running low on supplies, Astro warning me against going out, turning around in that empty store to see a drac staring at me head tilted to one side smiling beneath her half-face mask. I sigh, try to move stand up then see my wrists and ankles chained to the wall and floor.* *Static* "Prepare for inspection. Do not struggle, or attempt to escape. We have the right to shoot to kill should you attempt to escape and/or harm any employee of Better Living Industries." *Static* ... Crap.

*I start tearing apart the warehouse, looking for anything that could lead me to a fellow Killjoy, but finding nothing. I scream in frustration, throw a pile of documents at a wall and slump to the floor.* What the hell am I supposed to do now? There's no other Killjoys I can contact, I've lost their radio signals. The dracs could storm this place at any second. THINK. *Suddenly it dawns on me; I'll have to go in alone.* I knew bursting in, guns blazing, shooting anything I see was a bad idea. The only alternative being a disguise and infiltrating... *I shake my head* Impossible, suicide mission, not worth even thinking about... *Stands up and notices a small, faded map. I pick it up and study it, and realise it's a map of safehouses we've come across in the Zones.* Excellent, there's one nearby. *I spot a radio frequency scrawled next to the coordinates* Should I radio in first, let them know I'm gonna be there? *Reaches for the transmitter*
