~Standing up, she shielded her one good eye from the sun that glared down at her. She scrunched up her nose, breathing softly through the gas mask that obscured the lower half of her face. Pulling it down, Cyn pulled out a radio, breathing a sigh of relief when it buzzed to life.~
"Hey, all you killjoys out there. This is Cynical Paranoia, transmitting from zone two. I've been out here for a long time... Abandoned at birth by parents who thought it would be too difficult to deal with a half-blind kid while they tried to improve their situation. I ended up going from home to home, each more abusive than the next. Guess that's what the war did to people. Anyways, I hopped from safehouse to safehouse, learning how to work with bikes, cars and computers. When I was thirteen, a group of Killjoys picked me up, savin' me from some Dracs that had cornered me.
I travelled with them up until a couple years ago, when I turned seventeen and they were killed. I dunno how I escaped, but I made it out with some cuts and bruises. I wandered around dazed a bit, before grabbing my bike, any rations and weapons I could carry and setting off. I've been hopping zones ever since. If anyone can hear me... Let me know. Yes, I'm still running - sort of. But it is lonely out here. Haven't seen anyone else for a while.
