When i get my hands on Basilisk... *I sigh* Vanity, thank you for coming with me. You didn't have to, and you risked your life. I can't thank you enough.

*takes off glasses* yeah, i guess i thought, if we went our separate ways things would get better, but obviously it just got worse, i've been through a lot in the past few months, about two of the underground libraries don't exist because of me, i don't know where toxic is...or that damned dog, and then after this i'll probably be alone again, looking for something, a rumor i heard while imprisoned, something the my interrogator thought i knew about.

You're always welcome with me, Doctor. The school could use a new teacher. I'm sure newbies could learn a lot from you. *I don't divulge where the school is, i know Wilson is listening* You don't have to go about things alone, bro.

"Didn't have to?" Dear, of course i did. Remember where my house is? *glances at the BLI guy, hoping she was vague enough* I was never going to let anyone destroy it, not after I had a nuke actually dropped on my last home.

*rb* Vanity! Is Aftermath there right now? *rb* yeah, why? *rb* I found Vol. She's in a warehouse inside the southeastern side of the wall. She doesn't look so good and she had to fight with a guy who...oh god, I don't want to think about it. *rb* find that Mamba guy yet? No. But I'll keep looking. Lots of feeds, ya know.

The southeastern side?... *I trail of searching out the window* Hey what's that down there? *All I could see was a couple of ware houses side by side far from any other house or road* Any one have binoculars or something? My eye sight is bad enough without being this far away from the ground.

My eyes are good for seeing in the dark, I haven't really tried to see how well they do over long distances. *i try looking out the window and I can see the warehouses Bullet was referring too* one of those might be the one, but the question is which one?

*rb* how 'bout the one with the body in front of it? And which one is that? We're kinda thousands of feet in the air. *rb* It's a BLI warehouse, number 1813. At least I think she's there. Its getting dark and I can't see her anymore. But last I checked, she was in there and kinda wounded. Don't think she'd've moved. Geez, don;t say that with her boyfriend within earshot! Tact, EG! Tact! *rb* hey, I'mm just stating facts here. Trying to be helpful. Which isn't working. Hey, Mr. Pilot Man. When do we land?

*Next to Riley, I breath a little heavier... the pain in my arm is growing. I took a few shots on the way up and chose to ignore them but its not working as well as I had hoped*
Riley, those warheads are going to take sometime to disarm right? What do we do in the downtime. We also need to get people on fixing these streets immediately. We can't have Battery City or the main complex in shambles.

*I sit back in the helicopter, letting the killjoys do all the work. After all, none of my staff is currently in danger. I make a mental note to have the techs see if they can trace the camera feeds for this 'Endgame' person and would really like to know what mutation in her genetic sequence that girl with the glowing eyes has. And that killjoy school... I look over at Aerith when she talks to me. I can see that she's hurting, but I know she'll hurt me if I bring it up*
Aerith, I don't plan on sleeping until we have the nuke team dismantling the warhead and repair teams cleaning the streets. Battery City will-
*I am interrupted by a rb from Orwell. I answer back, telling him our intended location even though I'm sure he is in no condition to travel*

I just don't want that rotting death smell. ooh my coffee will taste terrible if that happens.
*I drift off into thoughts but is again interrupted by the sting in my arm. I grab the med kit and start treating it to make sure its fine before the next fight*
*I move in closer and whisper to riley* what do you make of that girl.. with the eyes. They remind me of a certain someone... but he had his far more under control.

*I'm not listening anymore. I lost my train of thought after EG mentioned Vol being hurt. I needed to find her, and make Basilisk pay. Then Mamba would follow. I knew one thing for sure. If this didn't end today, i was dying tonight. And then? Maybe then i'd finally be free... i shook my head from the thought. This was ending today. We had divulged too much information to BLI. Trust was an issue, in that we actually trusted them. We were the better people.* Wilson, I have to thank you.
