It hasn't begun yet? Wow. Some war this's gonna be, huh? *grins and jumps into the helicopter gracefully* And from what I hear it's kinda dangerous. Don't wanna die. But then again, it's your girlfriend we're talkin about here. *smiles knowingly* just know this. I'm not getting myself killed for her. She hates me.

*I close my eyes as the helicopter takes off, not wanting to look at the medics working over the girl's limp body. As soon as I do I start to feel better. Why am I so worried about her? I don't even really know who she is, and my conduct back in the ill-lit hallway was unacceptable. I should have focused on Morand, my partner, as per my orders. The medical team at the Tower will take care of her; there's nothing I could have done. And if she dies, it's no real concern to me.*

Thank you, Wilson. *I nod to wilson and give a friendly smile. He doesn't get it. How could he? It was never about the Zones, never about the Killjoys. We were fighting to continue a legacy. I don't think any Killjoy gave two shits about the Zones themselves. It was the tales told in the dirt and blood. Yet more proof that Killjoys were better than some ad hoc law that controlled next to nothing.* Doctor, when we get to the city i'll need you to survey the horizon for any Vipers still trying to get in. Vanity, i don't expect you to die for her. That's my job. *When was BLI going to get it? They controlled next to nothing in this world, and the more they fought and killed us, the less they have in the end. We win, either way.*

*I climb into the helicopter* To be honest I never got the chance to fly in one of these before the bombs dropped, shame my first time is flying into battle haha. *We wait for everyone else to climb in then make our way to the city*

I'm trying to remember, i think the last time I was in one was a short ride I took when i was a kid, back at my old home in Jersey. Seems like it was a whole lifetime ago. *I look out the window and watch the city start to grow closer. I'm shocked at the amount of damage that was dealt by the vipers*

Do we know where your girlfriend is, Aftermath, or is this just gonna be a wild goose chase? I'm sure we could go back home and I could get EG to find her for us. But if we go back I'm not leaving with you guys again.

Vanity, can you radio EG right now? Ask him if he's seen anything suspicious. Have him look for ware houses and storage sheds. *I check my radio. No new transmissions from anyone.* Be on the lookout for Mamba, as well. He won't be with Basilisk...
