I visibly shudder when he brings up the tower "they tried to bring me there... I had to kill them all." I look out the window sadly. "they were just doing their jobs I guess. I had to do mine"

I stare at him for a long time. this is the first person who has seen me since the incident and i surprisingly feel comfortable around him. I slowly take the scarves off of my neck exposing the many scars on my neck I say nothing as he stares at my neck.

I've seen worse scars. We call have them out here. It's nothing to be ashamed of.

"I Know but I just dont like th" the electrolarynx dies my eyes grow wide as I start to panic 'no... no not now! i can finally talk to someone!' I start to rock back and forth a bit as i look for batteries in all my pockets the only thing escaping my lips are small gasping noises. Im sure i look crazy right now but I dont think anyone will ever understand living like this.
