The desert is hot on my back as I walk through what I think is zone six. It has been ages since I checked and even longer since i cared to know. the only think i need is my saw. I examine the now slightly rusted chain saw that i found not too long ago 'it shall do nicely.' I think to myself as I continue to walk to nowhere in particular checking the batteries on my electrolarynx every now and then there is no one for miles so i dont know who I am going to talk to but its comforting knowing that if i have to talk I can. I pull the scarf up around my neck more covering the zig zag of scars that are now my neck. its a long walk to nowhere in particular isnt it?

my throat is dry im sure my voice would be raspy if i could actually speak. i stumble around for a bit thinking the house i see in the distance is another mirrage. 'im losing my mind arent i?' is the only thing running through my head. i walk towards the house anyways I notice a bunch of computers and drac masks outside. 'great...' i start up the chain saw incase I have to attack anyone and check the battery of the elctrolarynx. 'ok... lets do thi grim.'

(my connection is iffy during the day so i wrote this at like 6 am hopefully no one posted before me.... i cant tell)
the whirr of the chainsaw blade is almost comforting to me as i uneasily walk into the seemingly abandoned house. I grab the electrolarynx and put it up to my neck turning the volume on high "Anyone here!? anyone at all?" I get no answer I walk further into the house. who ever lived here must have left in a hurry there are things scattered everywhere. Turning the chainsaw off I sit on one of the kitchen chairs 'where now grim? there is obviously no one that can help you here.'

*after a few hours, drives up to the front of my old house, the burnt remains are still in a pile* Home sweet home. *turns off the car, steps out, notices the door is open* That wasn't like that. *slowly walks inside with a gun in the air*

I hear someone on the steps I have no time to start the chainsaw so i pull out my hack saw and gun. I use the hand that is holding my gun to put the electrolarynx up to my throat "who is there!" the mechanized voice cant show my fear and I am thankful for that I just hope i wont have to kill some one in this nice house....

"I asked first!" I get into a fighting stance just incase i have to charge my way out 'god grim you are an idiot!' I look around for exits but only find one working exit. the way i came in.

No, you don't. But the voicebox is kind of iffy. *sits down in front of the desk that used to have the surveillance monitors on it*

Yes, I'm still running - sort of. But it is lonely out here. Haven't seen anyone else for a while.
