((I'm truly sorry for not being active again. Exams are close and I had unbearable school pressure lately))

*I wake up in the next morning when the sun rises, hoping I don't wake anyone up if they're already sleeping. I move to the front to actually find almost everybody awake, so I wave* good morning, everybody *I smile and run my fingers through my hair so it won't look very messy* umm! I'll take a walk around. the place looks kind of looks pretty in the morning.

[Funhouse Gear]

*PB loads me up with plates when the first batch of french toast is ready, and I carry them out to the front* Not so fast, Moon! The area might be pretty, but it can't compare with breakfast! *I start handing out the plates to whoever's nearest. The smell of the food alone is putting me in a good mood.* We've got french toast, eggs, and fruit, and coffee on the stove. Besides, we'll probably be leaving within the hour, so scouting isn't so important.

[jumpstart]

*I sit bolt upright when I hear the word 'food'* Wha- who- how?

*I look around, accepting a plate from Gear even though I'm not really sure what it is yet. Smells good, though* Thanks? Oh, hi Moon, Poison, everybody else... oh man! French toast?!?! No way!

*I feel a big smile spread across my face and I start to dig in. Glorious*

*I try to hide behind Arson when Gear comes into the room. I don't want a confrontation to happen this early in the morning. When Jump 'wakes up' (I use the term loosely, what he did was more like instantaneously activate) Sarah giggles and I can't help but smile a bit.*

[Funhouse Gear]

*I leave food with Poison, Jump, and Max (He's joined the edge of the group, silent as usual, and I don't make eye contact), and then go back to the kitchen and bring out more. I feel my good mood slip a bit when I see Red, reminded of the tangle of anger, guilt, and distrust that I can't completely shake, but try not to let it show, at least not in front of Arson*

[Arson Anthem]

*I laugh at Jump, and wait until Gear comes back with another load of plates before I take two, one for myself and one for Red* Thanks, Gear. *I smile at him, then look down at Red when he heads off to hand Moon and Sarah the other two plates he's holding* You don't have to be afraid of him, I promise.

*I take the plate, thinking about Gear. Really, I'm unsure what to think yet, so I just shrug and dig into the food. I've never had whatever this is, but it's amazing! Before I know it, there's nothing left on my plate. I sit back, finally almost full for once. I can almost literally feel the energy traveling to my measly limbs*

*PB emerges from the kitchen carrying two cups of coffee, one of which he hands to Jump, making him even happier. I didn't know that was possible. I realize for the first time how relaxed everything is around the killjoys. There are no immediate, what's the word... expectations*

okay then... breakfast first *I take a plate* thanks, Gear
*I start eating some of the food. Then stop and put it beside me and go to the kitchen to get some coffee but before I leave I ask a question* does anyone want some coffee?

[Funhouse Gear]

Sure, you could grab me a mug if you don't mind - *I'm cut off by a spatter of static from my radio, and I hear it echoed from the vicinity of a few of the others. No one makes an immediate move to respond, and I push myself to to my feet* I'll get that, then.

*I take my food and radio up the aisle so I'm not interrupting the others, and start playing around with the frequencies to respond*

*I go to the kitchen and bring two mugs of coffee, one for me and the other is for Gear... I return back to the front of the theater and look for him to find him walking the aisle, so I go up to him.* here's the coffee you've asked for. *I smile and hand him the mug*

*I put away the rest of my notes and join the others and eat with them*
So how long till we get moving out?

Thanks, Moon! And no problem, Poison. Thank PB, he's the one who made it. *I come back to the stage a few minutes later, scraping the last of the egg off my plate* That was a killjoy named Electric Revenge, heading this way from Zone 6. I told her we were moving, and I'd send her the coordinates when we got to the next safehouse. So I say we pack up and leave as soon as we're done with breakfast.

Electric Revenge? Never heard of her. Hope she's a better spirit than the other killjoys out there... we're running out of minds out here in the zones. All i end up seeing lately is bodies and kids with guns.

[Arson Anthem]

The name doesn't ring a bell for me either. But if she's been in the outer Zones, that could explain why we haven't run into her yet. *I nod in response to Poison's last comment* Tell me about it. I'm constantly amazed at how many kids end up in the Zones with the idea that it's like nothing more than a video game. Those ones usually learn pretty quickly that they don't get bonus lives, though.

*I stand up when I see Red's finished with her plate, and carry it back to the kitchen along with my plate and the empty fruit can. I'm glad to see PB's gotten something to eat, and I set about helping him clean up the kitchen and get the rest of the food supplies ready to go*

You're welcome, Gear. *I take the last bite of mt toast and drink the rest of my coffee* I really hope that the safehouse's good enough... I'll be right back, guys. *I walk away to go to the kitchen to put the mug and plate there and then go to the place where I usually sleep to bring my jacket, my raygun and the holster and put them on quickly... Afterwards, I get back to the front of the theater* I'm back and ready to go in any time
