....Not that I'm pretentious or anything, but I don't want to clutter the main Pictures thread with people talking to me, and I tend to bomb my PM inbox with "delete all" when I'm tired... So, ah...... MY LIST (in no particular order): - Charels May

If you're on this list...I've probably lost your description.... And I really don't want to actually dig it out.... So if you'd just throw it down on this thread, that'd be really swell... Also, style matters (to me) so please tell me if it matters to you. I have, like, five ways of drawing people. But only three have appeared on my dA... If you have a preference (like the insane way I decided to draw Nack versus the weird and kind of glittery way I drew Volume and the soft coloring used for Stellar's face...) let me know. If you don't specify, you may end up drawn in some weird KAWAIIDESUASODFEFFNERGSDFL style I've used maybe once since I turned 14. I hope you're okay with that. So... Have fun? |

I love you Stellar. So quirky. I fell in love with the style you did for Nack. So if you could please do mine in that I would be eternally grateful. And as for Retro... she changes clothes often. I'm posting a newer picture tonight on my dA so if you'd like to use that you could. Or the various other drawings I have of her.

I don't really mind which style you want to use - I'd just prefer it isn't manga  And Arson's outfit stays more or less the same, so you can look at pretty much any of the drawings of her. Thanks! |

But...It is.
Like, the cheesiest, most generic style I can muster.
Besides, there's nothing wrong with the anime/manga styles. It's just another cartoon. :T
..and it's how I started drawing.
Then my style got weird...and now it's like a weird mix of odd proportions, half a drop of realism, and fifteen ways to color...
but that's another subject.

There's nothing wrong with anime/manga. It's just that everyone's copying the same thing. It's like, Gerard has an awesome drawing style, but it wouldn't be cool if 50 bajillion kids were always trying to copy it

I think any comic style is dependent on what you've seen before. Manga, US Comics, etc. Besides, the first step to creating your own style is copying the ones that came before so you can develop a baseline.

I really like the style that you did for Volume. As for the description, you can go off of my profile pic Blackout's outfit stays the same for the most part.

Eh, don't feel like debating. I second that. I'll just say one last thing - I like it when I can look at a comic and instantly recognize the artist. Whether it's manga or the stereotypical classic superhero comic, I just don't like it as much when it's not individualized. |

I like what you did for Nack, can you do that for Raven? General description is light skin, long black hair, bright green eyes, and she's also BLI by the way
