Upload it to tinypic.com and use the URL there. Arson can explain that better than i can. i'm inept when it comes to anything regarding... not writing.

Yes, use tinypic for your photo. You'll have to keep in mind that the avatar here will get stretched to fit the 100x100 (you can see that happened with IA's avatar) so you might want to make sure your picture's already a square before you upload it And while we're talking about typing, I might just add the following: text-speak and emoticons aren't used for role play, but are okay for other threads like this one *rb* means "radio back" *rb Retro* would mean I'm only transmitting to Retro's frequency An * before and after text means it's describing something you're doing or thinking () are used for things that aren't in the roleplay world. Example post: *rb IA* Thanks for helping T-Poison when I couldn't get to my radio in time. *When IA doesn't reply, I switch to another frequency to try again* (Sorry for the double post earlier, I was on my Kindle) Make sense?

Direct link. I would also like to add that Photobucket works as well.

It's usually a good idea to ask before you join a thread, except for the school thread. That one's open to anyone, unless it's not being manned (like when IA and Vol were both participating in the fight against the Vipers). Sending out your first general transmission was a good idea, because it gave people a chance to invite you on, like I did. Once you start posting, you don't usually need to ask about joining anyone else. The threads all usually end up blending into each other at some point and we never seem to run out of things to do

Hey, we still appreciate it if people radio in too...but we welcome newbies with open arms. It's just nice if you drop us a line first.

Ahhhh i think i get it now, so i just keep posting on my profile one and see wut happens right?? No, you can switch threads depending on where you want your character to go. So on my first reply to your transmission, I left you links to either the school's thread or the safehouse thread. You can pick between the two

oh ok i think i get it. so if i enter those threads i write some of my backstory so they know y im there and keep going from there??

Not your backstory per se. We don't need to know why you're there; a bunch of us read up on every thread, so we'll know anyway. We just really need to know that you're showing up.

so something like "* sees a group of 4 ppl walking towards me, and pulls out my gun* whos there?!" would be fine if 4 ppl were walking somewhere and i never met them before?

Yes. But do try to write out "people" instead of using ppl. This is a lit roleplay, meaning no textspeak. You don't need perfect grammar, but do try not to slip into textspeak in the canon threads, alright?
