*I stiffen a little at the 'killed my partner' comment, but am distracted when he hands me the picture. And like that, I have a mission, a purpose, and a mentor I'm not too sure about. I hold out the picture to Ms. Faith, intending to give it back to her*

Well she's not a partner, You are her mentor and you better protect and teach her. We all have to start somewhere dont we? * I start grinning again* No time like the present. Take RH down to get a uniform and get to it. I have high expectations for both of you, dont disappoint me.

[Max Griffiths]

I never said I was planning on killing her. *I gesture for RH to follow me, and head for the elevator*

*I follow Max to the elevator, unsure who he plans to kill. He walks with a confidence I definitely lack and punches a code into the elevator*

*I watch the newbie leave, slightly nervous* You'll be fine. Don't take any of his crap! *I call the reception and ask for Vespa to be sent up but she's out on an assignment.* Funny, I didnt think she was working on assignments *I sit down at the desk and start on my paperwork*

*When we get to the third floor I step out of the elevator* This is where you'll come to get new assignments, check in and out, and file reports of your activities. Your employee card lets you through locked doors, provided they don't lead to restricted sectors. *We go down a long, brightly lit hall* Through here is where you get your uniform and mask.

*I look at the rows of drac masks staring at me. I gesture along the row, wondering if we can pick any or if there is a specific one for me. I look down at the combat boots, pleased to see I get steel-toed shoes instead of the soft school shoes. The uniforms themselves is a little plain, but pressed and pristine. Somebody spent alot of time cleaning those*

[Max Griffiths]

There are different sizes. *I signal to an attendant, and a young woman hurries over* New recruit. She needs a full uniform.

*I grimace a little as the woman sizes me up and hands me all the appropriate gear. I look around the room and realize there is something missing. I make a gun with my thumb and forefinger at max, wondering exactly when I'd get my handgun. If there was one thing they taught "special program" people like me, it was how to shoot*

[Max Griffiths]

Different department. All the weaponry is on the fourth floor in the east wing. Changing rooms are over there *I nod at a door in the far wall* I'll wait here for you.

*I change quickly, sizing myself up in the mirror and adjusting my jacket before I go out, but I don't put my mask on. When I get out I give my old clothes to the attendant and go over to Max, waiting to hear what he has to say

I was right, the boots are awesome*

[Max Griffiths]

Good. You look like a proper crow now. Let's go. *I lead her back down the hallway and stop by one of the terminals in the first room we passed. I swipe my card, provide verification for my current assignment, and sign out a car, then step back.* Your turn, minus the car.

*I am still smiling a little from Max's comment, even though I'm not sure what 'proper crow' really means. I go up and swipe the card like I was entering a classroom and provide verification. It beeps once and then a small light turns green. There are different icons on the screen for cars, helicopters, trucks, etc.

As I turn away it dawns on me. I'll be getting out of the Tower. It's been forever since I've been out of the tower. Forgetting for a second that I'm trying to impress Max, I jump up and down a little with excitement*

[Max Griffiths]

*I smile at Red's reaction, though I know she can't see it through my mask* Now to the basement to get the car.

*I try to act serious again as we head down another long white corridor to the elevator, but I can't really help myself. I wonder a little what Max looks like under the mask as we reach the elevator. He punches in a code and the door immediately opens. Maybe he has a giant scar over his eye or something... I couldn't even really tell his age*
