*I pause for a second, thinking* I'll meet you. Give me a minute.

[And back from For Science! p.1]
*I quickly make my way to the Red's room in the Hospital Wing. One of my assistants holds out Hank's contract to the nurse as the other two start to take our Red's IV's and unplug her from the machines. The nurse grabs the form and runs out, probably for Dr.Brian and/or Dr.Jarva. This will have to be quick*
*Red starts to struggle, so I quickly step over her and put a hand on her shoulder. She looks up at me, eyes wide with questions. I decide to give her an answer* Red, you are no longer my project. You have failed me too many times. I'm disappointed it had to turn out this way, really, but when you are no longer useful... *I sigh* You are being transferred to Hank's lab. No, don't struggle or we will strap you down. Red-
*I warn her, but she doesn't listen and we end up having to restrain her. This is exactly what I don't want from one of my projects. I don't talk to her again before she's wheeled out of the room. A minute later Dr. Brain comes running in and I turn to him* It's too late, Doctor, she's already in Hank's hands. There's nothing either of us can do.
*I walk out smiling as Dr. Brian stares at the spot where Red's stretcher used to be. What a fool*

*It's a few days later when I finally go back to the hospital wing to visit Red. It's been a long week, lots of talks with Orwell. He explained the situation further and at first I was adverse to the whole idea but it didn't take long for all the memories of working here to resurface and soon I was persuading myself to join back up. So I filled out a shitload of paperwork then got my prescription. I found an apartment to share with a few other agents and spent most of my time there, adjusting to the new medication and watching Mousekat. I had forgotten how much I loved that show. The meds didn't take effect right away but I knew it was because they started me off on a low dosage; that was part of our deal. That it had to be low and I had to be as 'Retro' as possible unless I myself decided to up the dose. It's only been a few days so only time will tell but the familiar feeling of calm and stability are back. I still feel like myself but more... leveled out. Something has changed but I don't dislike it by any means. Being a neutral I was never that opposed to the idea of medication, especially if it helped with that awful feeling inside and occasionally I had swiped the lowest dosage as possible. Not that they ever knew it. But I actually like being medicated.
I walk into her room, then stop midstep when I see how empty it is. I look back at the door, making sure I have the right number before wandering back out into the hall. I find a nurse and inquire but all she tells me is that Red has been transferred and she doesn't know where to. I frown, not liking the news. Then I find Dr. Brian in his office looking forlorn and I only assume the worst.* Is she dead?

[De.Brian:] *I look up at Sylvia, not sure if I should upset a new BLI employee. Oh well, she deserves to know* She was transferred to Hank Mason's lab late last night. The paperwork was all in order, there was nothing I could do. I'm sorry.

*I scowl and walk out before he can say anything else. My hand subconsciously reaches for the pill bottle but I pause, realizing what I'm doing. Part of me is surprised I'm already this dependent on them but I quickly shove the thought aside and take a few anyways. I'm not too familiar with the name Manson but I remember Orwell speaking about him a few times and I know that Red is most likely dead. The thought twists my stomach in knots but I march up to Wilsons office anyways and knock loudly on the door.*

*I decide to go on the zone mission after all. I talk with Orwell and he agrees to round up the unit members he wants and to meet me in the parking garage in an hour. I'm almost packed when I hear a knocking on my door* Yes? Come in.

*I look at Dr. Brian with a defeated look* I'm sorry Brian. I... I wish that this wasnt how it was going to end for her... *I stare at the wall* I guess I let my sister down as well. Ahe told me to take care of red. It was harder than it seemed apparently.

(From "But I'll Take What I Want" pg 103)
*The room we emerge into is much larger than it seemed at first - we're behind a tall row of shelving full of cardboard boxes, but as we spread out a bit I realize we're in a vast basement library of some sort. There's barely enough light to see one another by, and I gesture at the others to follow me as I take the lead. I've gotten a good idea of the Tower's layout by now, and I know we need to go up quite a few levels to get to the hospital wing*

*I climb up and help the others, wanting to sneeze from all the dust, but stopping myself. There are probably cameras and mikes even down here. I motion for the others to be silent. The large boxes loom over us, oddly mimicking Battery city itself. I play with the gun a bit, not liking the feel of it in my hand*

*We're dead silent as we weave our way through the shelves and to the half-flight of stairs leading to a door. It locks from the outside so I pause to wedge it open with the lid of one of the boxes before we start down the hallway. The lights are dim but better than in the basement, and it doesn't take us long to find the concrete stairwell and start up, trying not to let our footsteps echo*

*I stay quiet as Arson leads the way. I'm a little on edge since the incident in the tunnels, but other than that I feel completely calm. I hear Twisted's comment and turn my head* We have to go a few more floors up Twisted. The hospital wing isn't going to be down in the basement. *I give a slight smile. I turn back around and the smiles gone. I look at the others in front of me and think how easy it would be to take them out, they wouldn't expect it. I shake my head and the thought is soon gone as we continue up the stairs.*

*I walk in, still scowling but remind myself that he is my superior and whether or not I like what he's done we still have a contract. I'm not as familiar with Wilson as I am with Orwell so I keep my guard up and choose my words carefully.* Hello Mr. Wilson. Sylvia Main. *Force a slight smile, Main...* I was going down to visit the partner I was assigned to during the Viper attack, Red Havoc, when I noticed that she is no longer in her hospital room. Instead she's been transferred to Manson, a well known psychopath. I don't mean to be blunt but- take her back.

*I zip up my bag and lead her out. Orwell is leaving in a few minutes, I don't want to be late* Miss Main, I suggest you forget Red Havoc, especially if you want to do well in this unit. Soon you'll be given the green light for zone missions and you'll find there are much more important things to worry about. Now, if you'll excuse me, I am holding up the unit.
*I leave Main standing there and meet Orwell in the garage, where the team is assembling*

*We get to the right door and I motion for the others to stop* Okay, this is it. There are definitely cameras on the other side of this door, and employees. We want to get in and out as quickly as possible. Stay quiet, move fast, don't call attention to yourself. We /do not/ want a firefight. If you have to shoot, stun. These are medical employees, remember. Understood?
*The others nod, and I take a breath before pushing the door open and stepping out into the hall. It's brightly lit, white, and sterile. I hate the smell of it. Doors line the walls, with summarial patient information beside the doorways. We spread out, moving quickly down the hall and scanning the clipboards as we go. A few people pass along a wider hallway farther up, but no one looks our way. For now.*
*We're halfway along the hall when someone turns down it. He's a middle-aged man, flipping through the papers on his clipboard, and obviously a doctor. There's no way he won't see us, so I run forward, pushing him against the wall before he has a chance to react. I put one hand over his mouth, holding my raygun under his chin and keeping my voice low*
No noise. I don't want to hurt you. Nod if I don't have to stun you.
