(continuing from Family Reunion)
*My niece and myself had successfully escaped the city a few hours ago. She's asleep in the backseat of my car, as I drive deeper into the desert. The raygun wound in my shoulder as we fled stings a bit, but it's bearable*
Finally out of there.

Not sure yet. Guess we should start by getting out of these clothes. I don't mind the jacket and pants, but it screams, "BLI." And you're no better.

Hold on. *takes out my goggles from the city* Just one quick adjustment. *takes out a small electronic box, attaches it to a port on the goggles* That'll keep them from tracking us when I use these. *puts the glasses on, presses a button on the side* It's a...... *the words, "WINCHESTER VALLEY MALL" appear on the goggle's lenses* Mall. Sounds like a good place to stop.

Uncle Des do you know why my dad.... *I think about what i am about to ask* Never mind it doesnt matter now. *I smile at my uncle but it is a fake smile hiding my pain. Why. Why do I always run back to this man if he just ends up leaving me alone. Why do I cling to family when they just end up hurting me?*

Why your dad put that bomb in your neck? I imagine he's pissed at me for nearly killing him. And he wants you dead. So he probably saw it as killing two birds with one stone. The stone being a a homemade explosive.

Yes, I'm still running - sort of. But it is lonely out here. Haven't seen anyone else for a while.
