Times Have Changed, The New Team

*Sitting shotgun in the car, i lay my head on the open window and watch the plain, desert scenery go bye. Jack, the dog, and our teams mascot, also was laying his head on the window in the back seat and breathing in the fresh air. Driving the car, is my good friend, Rose, and in the back seat, sleeping as usual, Voltage.* so where is this place we're gonna stay at??

* i had been driving for a while, i had to crank the seat all the way forward just so my feet could reach the pedals, eventually i just gave up and put in on cruise control* it's in zone 1, me and dad's old repair shop, it'll be great to be back home, i just hope it wasn't ransacked too much.

awesome *i look in the back at voltage and Jack* hey boy! *i sctach Jacks head*

voltage sleeps a lot, doesn't he?

haha, no kidding *i look back and punch his leg* Hey! Lazy ass! Rise and shine

come on we getting ready to make a pit stop, jack is whining, and i gotta take a minute to make sure we're going the right way.

Alright, well voltage doesnt seem like waking, so i guess i'll stand watch. Pull over next to that huge rock, i can sit on top of it and watch for trouble

sure thing * i pull over to the side and park the car, then get out and open the door for jack, who immediately bounds off. smiling to myself, i pull my map out of my backpack and wipe sweat off my forehead* well so far it seems we're going the right direction, that there rock looks familiar. *i walk over to the rock there T is sitting and i trace and "x" chiseled into the face of the rock* sure enough i did this on my way out of zone 1, we're on the right track.

*yawn* Watashi wa domo tsukareta des. *I look around, then realizing I wasn't speaking English I repeat myself;* I'm so tired. What zone are we in Rose? I have a rifle I left in a tattoo shop in zone 2.

we're still in zone 2, 'bout near the border.* i snap the map straight and chew on my bottom lip* tattoo shop huh? wanted to get one of those once, but mother would have had a heart attack *i laugh to myself, then hand the map to voltage and point to a spot* we're here. is this shop far from here?

It's not far from here, I might could give you one, I did this myself. *I hold up my arm where I but a red line around my left arm* We can also pick up some food from the little store beside it.

*i scan the area around the car from the rock im sitting on, listening to the conversation* sounds good to me, you guys ready to go?

we gotta wait for jack to get back, he shouldnt be much longer * jack comes bounding back and hops into the open car door and settles himself in the backseat* well i suppose he's ready. * i laugh and heave myself up into the driver's seat* all aboard who's coming aboard!

Sweet! SHOTGUN!! *i bound off the rock and into the passenger seat*

*I get in an upright position in the seat and crack my joints* let's go! *I grab my bag and look at my ammo waiting for my good gun again*
