Only the best for the City's finest, *I purr, pulling apart my sandwich to fussily rearrange it to my standards. It was amusing, knowing my OCD behaviors in the city but then turning around and looking at my, frankly horrifyingly sloppy fieldwork.* Maybe I'll slip you a few more Zoneside since you are joining me. I don't see why they just don't make a robot do that sort of menial paperwork- less margin for human error.

*My phone rings, and I hiss in dismay.* Looks like we're eating and running, Scouts have picked up another ritual site. God-fucking- dammit! *I slam my fist on the table, startling several guests before pulling aside our server and hastily paying for my half-eaten meal, because I've got no fucking time to waste with waiting. I nod at Vico, who is still sitting.*

So sorry. Work calls...if this keeps up, I may just do the honorable thing and fall on my sword in shame...I could just- meet you there, but take your time. *I rapidly pen out the coordinates onto a napkin, before I'm out the door without so much as a goodbye.*

*Maddening, maddening, if those 'Joys are there when I get there, I won't be so sparing. I don't like being made to look the fool.*

*I sigh, pushing back my chair and pocketing the coordinates. I'm not going to try to keep up with him, but I can't just sit here. The server stays where he is until I hand over a few carbons. I must not look nearly as intimidating as Delta, because while I wrap my sandwich up in a napkin he works up the nerve to ask me what happened.*

Food dye spill, *I answer, barely paying attention.* Some civilians got covered in blue dye, and had breakdowns. Mental allergies, you know. Comes from wearing too much white.

*I leave him standing there somewhat nonplussed, and retrace my steps to the car. At least Delta didn't take it - I wouldn't have put it past him. Right, then... home to grab my radio and the like, then out to the Zones. I'll have to see if I can hitch a ride with a patrol so I don't have to ditch another car. That's generally frowned upon, and I don't want my salary getting docked again.*
