*sighs* I was hoping you would know. I can use my goggles to track agents here, not out there. It's a...minor design flaw I can't seem to fix.

No sorry, I haven't heard anything from, or about her. *I igh and look back at the target.* So what now? Head out again and try to find her and the killjoys?

[Masta Destroya]

*shrugs, but that irritates my shoulder a bit* Perhaps. Perhaps. We'll discuss that later. Think I should get to the hospital wing, get my shoulder looked at. The desert rat got me good. Of course, there's no hope for her. A shot to the head to the head and a slit throat isn't something you walk away from. *seems steamed for a second, but then calms down*

I see. *I catch the edge in his voice and raise an eyebrow slightly.* Am I correct in thinking that you two have some history?

Yeah, we did. But she's dead. That's all I care about. I'm committed to the good of the company, not her or any other desert rat.

[Rachel Mahoney]

That's good, but why were you committed to her in the first place? *I looked at him curiously as I go to reload a fresh magazine into my gun.*

We all had different lives before the company saved us. She was a major part of mine, which is why I needed to kill her. It's the past. The future is what defines us. Not some fling with an old, useless bounty hunter turned desert rat. *the anger has agitated my shoulder wound, so I pop a painkiller*

[Rachel Mahoney]

I couldn't agree with you more. *I sigh as I think of my life before I signs on as a drac.* my life could have very easily been very different from how it is now, with the way I grew up.

[Masta Destroya]

Keep those feelings in check, Mahoney. Don't get sympathetic here. *rubs shoulder* I should probably head to the hospital. Carry on with your practice, and let me know if anything arises. *leaves the shooting range, heads for the hospital wing*

Have a better day, and hope you heal up fast. *I heft my rifle to my shoulder and pop in a fresh magazine before heading to the moving target range for a slightly harder challenge.*

*A couple of weeks passed since the events in The Zones, Me and Mahoney stuck to our regular training schedule spending extra hours whenever we could, Weldon made a full recovery after the attack which was great news but still nothing from Riley... The three of us needed to get together and orginize some kind of search and rescue, with the permission from the higher-ups of course.*

*It was Monday afternoon, I had finished all my paperwork and was making my way down to the shooting range for target practise, of course meeting Mahoney there. I had planned to bring up the idea of a search and rescue mission with her first, seeing as we're quite close now. As usual she was there before me so I throw a quick wave before collecting my rifle and joining her.* Afternoon Rachel *I say with a smile.* Good day?
