If you brought him back they could make him better. *He sounds like he spends most of his free time listening to Fact News* Here we are. *The car stops in front of a low building with only four or five floors visible* Just go in the front, show them your I.D., and take the elevator down to the training levels for evaluation. Have a better day!

*The man behind the desk checks her I.D., then gives her directions as to which room to go to for her evaluation* Good luck!

now then, we're going to have you run through various training exercises, including weapon training. Are you ready? yes ma'am! *smiles* we'll start with weapon training, if you're going to be out in the zones, you have to know how to use a gun and use it well. *leads her to a shooting range* what you have to do is take the gun and shoot the targets when they appear. we've also added a few trick targets to make sure you're paying attention. *hands her the gun*

*the tests continue and at the end of the day I'm sweaty, tired, and eagerly awaiting the results* *walks over* well Rachel, congratulations. You passed evaluation and will be assigned a patrol as soon as possible. As it is, we have been notified that all new recruits will be immediately put into a patrol as preparation for a nearing conflict *hands her a document* this is your certification that you passed the evaluation. You will be called to your new patrol tomorrow. Again, congratulations and I hope you have a better day! *takes the certificate, grinning from ear to ear* thank you so much! This is perhaps the best day of my life! Have a better day! *walks outside and then sprints home*

*In my office, I realize I've been staring at the same line on the report for the past few minutes. I shake my head, trying to concentrate. It's hard, though, knowing that the new project is underway. I get up and walk to the window, looking out over the city. I wonder how long it will take for the killjoys to realize what's happening, and start fighting back. For all I know, they might already be in action - Faith's disappearance has been hushed up, but I've heard rumors that she's regained her memory and returned to the Zones.*
