Oh! *I stop quickly, searching through my bulging backpack.* I know it's in here...somewhere...ah! *I pull a wrinkled leather jacket out of the bag, shaking it out to dislodge a few stray grains of sand. It's the one IA lent me before we went to stay at Vanity's, and I'm glad I held onto it instead of strangling him with it. I drape it over Fire's shoulders as she passes.* Here. Is that better?

*I pat Grim on the shoulder and return to the group* We're coming up on the spot now. *After a few minutes of walking we come up on what can only be explained as a "desert forest". There are sparse trees and dry, tall grass surrounded by loosely spread trees with barely any leaves at all, save for some which do have foliage.* And here we are! Killjoy Park.

It's a lot better, thanks Vol. *i stop when I sense everyone else stop walking. This place, I can imagine it in my head. It's probably different to what they see. But to me, IA's "killjoy park" is just some desert wasteland with maybe one dead tree. But I can picture it as something more and that's good enough for me*

Is it just me, or was it a lot prettier last time? *I shrug and catch up to Aftermath (he can actually go pretty quickly on those crutches when he wants to), looking into the shadows of the trees, paranoid.* No climbing for us this time, I guess.

It was prettier because of the circumstance. And it was nearly sunset. *I put an arm around Vol and focus my gaze on a very familiar tree. There are obvious claw marks at the base of the trunk.* We're gonna hike in until we reach the center, and set up camp there. This is the best to a vacation i'm willing to give all of you, so enjoy.

...true, it was the first time I had seen a forest in three or four years, but one would think I'd actually see it like it is. *I shrug and beckon the children to the center, tugging on Fire's sleeve every now and then to direct her.* I assume we don't have tents or sleeping bags, unless you're really good at hiding things. Should we make a little hut thing out of branches? Or just try to stay warm without any shelter?

If you don't mind me asking... What is it we're doing exactly? *Vacation my ass. Yes, it was very pretty. But these killjoys didn't strike me as the kind of people to set up camp out in the open and roast marshmallows just for kicks.*

Camping. *I shrug and turn around, walking backward on my toes.* You'll need to know how to survive in the wilderness someday. You can't always have a safehouse to hide in, or even a car to sleep in. Sometimes, you'll need to find the best shelter you can and hope for the best. That's what we're doing here. Wilderness Survival 101.

Survival! *I take out my bag and begin ruffling through for the food. I smack my forehead as i realize what i forgot.* Oh no, Umm... okay, so i forgot the food. But don't worry! I have a hidden several hideaways in this forest in case of emergencies. I will just go out and find out, Volume, come with me please? Everyone else, stay put here, alright? I'll be back as soon as I can.

When did you have time to stash food out here? You've been planning this trip for a while, haven't you? *I shake my head, exasperated, and join Aftermath before turning back to look kindly at our students.* Don't wander unless it's necessary. Use the buddy system if you go anywhere. I don't want to hear that anyone got hurt cos they were on their own. We'll be back soon. *I turn back to Aftermath, gesturing at the forest in front of us.* Lead away.

*Once we're far enough away from everyone else and i'm sure no one is following us, I take Vol's arm and lead her to a small alcove covered in leaves. There's a pair of binoculars and some food stashed inside.* We're staying here for tonight, Volume. They'll fend for themselves. It's almost sunset.

I look around "Dee... I dont think they are coming back for tonight..." I try to find some shelter or something that we can safely hide in. I spot a large looking tree with a hole in the trunk large enough for a person to get their foot in to climb it "there!"
