*I'm not sure if I really want to indroduce myself, but I nod at Arson and sit up a big more on the couch. The doc gives me a warning look, which I ignore. I'm a bit confused by Moon. She seems like a security risk and she's hurt, which means she won't be as effective a fighter. The same thing could be said about me... there must be a reason for this, but I don't see it*

*I head back upstairs and dig through my bag, coming back down with a small battered notebook full of notes about the Zones and sketched-out maps, and a ballpoint pen.* Here you go, Red. Knock yourself out. Figuratively, of course, *I add quickly. I hear Gear stifle a laugh behind me.*

*I eagerly take the pen and notebook. I'm immedietly comforted by the feel of the notebook in my hand. I don't know what I could have to say to Moon, what we have in common, but I'll give it a shot. I flip to an empty page and start writing: 'Hi, Moon, I am Red Havoc. Your gun is quite nice, but I prefer hand-to-hand combat myself'. I hold the notebook open for Moon to read.

*I'm surprised a killjoy would always get hurt in hand-to-hand, but I have to remind myself that I was practically raised on it in BLI. I look at Arson, not used to being this social with a stranger, and she nods at me to continue. I try to think of something I've been wondering about the killjoys, something BLI has never told me but that won't get anyone defensive. In my condition I have to make sure to stay in their favor. I write the question down, but really it's meant for everyone in the room. I hold up the notebook, which reads:* 'Why do killjoys wear bright colors?

*This always struck me as odd. It is much easier to shoot at a bright target*

I'm not good in them because I'm not that strong because when I broke my arm twice before, so it's not that strong as the old days, it's my weakness point.
*starts to explain to Red:* as everybody knows, the BL/ind members always wear white, no other colors, which seems kind of "lifeless" and we, the killjoys, wear bright colors because it shows the life in us and it's also a kind of "rebelling" against BL/ind to show them that we won't be lifeless or controlled

*I frown. That doesn't make sense to me. I was never dead at BLI, obviously, because I am alive now. I write 'lifeless?' and hold the notebook up*

Not literally. *I sit down on the floor next to Gear, cross-legged* Dead as in, no spirit. No reason for living other than because it's what we're told we should do. There's nothing wrong with wearing white and black - *I indicate my shirt, white with purple letters* - but we don't agree that they're the best, or the only colors we should wear. Our clothing is a symbol that we don't agree. And yeah, some bright colors /do/ make us easier targets, but so does white, to an extent. I mean, what's easier to see from a distance, against desert sand - yellow and orange or bright white?

*nods my head* Arson is right, it's not literally "dead".... and colors are perfect in camouflage
*tries to hide the fact that I'm thinking about a lot of things of what is going around.... like why is there a drac's vehicle outside the safehouse and why they never talk about what's happening in Battery City*

*I'm not used to not taking things literally, not having my actions be 'wrong' or 'right' and the concept doesn't sit well with me. It is something I will have to think about. And the whole thing about Dracs being easy targets, that couldn't be right... BLI is all about efficiency. My head starts to hurt a bit*

Sure, med assistance coming right up. *I wave at Jump to get his attention, and he nods that he's okay with going. He still looks rather exasperated, but he's not one to turn down a patient, I suppose*

*rb* we've got an injured ex-bli officer by the name of... Max. Shots and burns to the back and sides, couple of scrapes, and it looks like he might have a fever. Looks like he was attacked by killjoy and Bli alike in an incident a few miles down.

He's a bit on edge, so be careful walking in.
