Are you worried about your friends? I'm sure they'll come back fine. I may only have been out of the tower for a few days but from what I've seen and experienced out here, you're all family. And that's part of what makes you so strong. They'll be back. They're probably just out of radio range or something

It's fine. And it wasn't you i was mad about, it's just that I don't know how much more of this insanity with everyone getting hurt that I can take. I'm worried too, and I feel terrible that there isn't some way that I can help.

Welcome to life in the zones blackie. This here is a safehouse too. You know how many people come through here having injuries that we just couldnt handle without bunny here coz we werent trained? We watched people die of fever! You think it gets easier? It doesnt. We fight, thats what we do. We fight to stay alive, we fights so that others can stay alive, we fight for the hope that one day we wont have to fight anymore and we deal with it whatever way we have to. If you cant deal with people getting hurt or seperated or dying then the desert is gonna swallow you whole. Now, if you dont mind I'm gonna find AE and Llama. *I leave and walk down the street*
*A little shocked at skeets' outburst I walk over to the others* Thats how he deals with it I guess... I'm sure they're just fine. They can take care of themselves. If they're able to respond, they'll be able to get back

No don't eat that! *I stand there helplessly trying to stop Llama from eating some of the Lucky Strikes flyers that keep drifting past, forever in a tug-of-war battle with him* Right! That is it! We're going back to the alley! *I start marching back down the street the way that i came and notice Skeets walking towards me* Hey Skeets, i was just going to drop Llama back off at the alley...

Hey *I say quite abrubtly. I fall to my knees and throw my arms around llama. He starts struggling and then stomps at me* Oh you wanna fight? *I back away and mimic the goat, stomping the ground with my hand. He does it again so I copy him as he gets ready to charge. I stand up and brace my self as the Llama reaches full speed I jump out of the way at the last second* Come on kid, you'll have to be quicker than that *He turns and charges again this time I get slightly distracted and he knocks me over* Geez dude, ouch! *The goat obviously satisfied canters over and chews on my hair, knocking my cap off* Gerroff!!! *I push him off and he goes pack to the flyers*
Exactly Fire, they can kill a person but its damn near impossible to kill a memory!

Well i'm sorry if I happen to really care about my friends Skeets! *I stand up and glare at him* I know it only gets harder, i know that not a day goes by when we dont fight or run for our lives!
*I see Blackie start to get worked up and I get nervous. She looks like she's about to rip someone's head off, and her eyes are starting to turn red*
I've dealt with a lot of shit out here, but that doesnt mean that it hurts any less to see your friends leave or get hurt or even die! *I run off away from the alley, not caring if anyone decides to follow me*

They dont kill your memories, they block them. You've gotta want to remember though. If you can face the horrors that you've seen and still want to remember them then you can. Thats why Bunny came back and thats why you'll get your memory back too. Hey, you were able to remember me... Promise me you'll stay here. I'm gonna make sure blackie is ok. Make sure she doesnt do anything she'll regret *I kiss her cheek and run after blackie*

*I run until im able to look back and barely see the alley. I walk to a nearby tree and start to climb up. I get near the top and I swing down so im hanging onto the branch by my knees and just swing back and forth for a bit*

They don't kill memories huh? I wish that was true. *turning my back to the door, I pull a little pack of pills out of my pocket, so tempted to take them so I don't have to deal with the pain. But I stop and think properly. Pain is one of the things that you aren't allowed to feel in battery city. To the people there, it doesn't exist. But how can you be human with no pain? I have to be human. Can't live in their lies anymore. So I throw the pills away.

*I see someone running towards the tree, probably Boots, but I don't say anything at first. But I speak up after a minute* Up here. *I unhook my knees from the branch but I stay in the tree. I'm surprised that he didn't see my bright red hair. I really need to change it back to brown or maybe black. Having it red makes me feel like i've got a huge target on my head*
