Well, I'm going to go and get some people. *half drags Mercury into the car and drives off* Now then? Where were we going? *By default, she takes the same path Gear did, hoping to help. One car can't fit too many people.*

*I see Max looking at something and stand up, checking my weapons automatically*

((You know what? Teleportation. SO THERE.)) *about a mile from the pickup zone* Okay, no targets so far. Too easy.

*I get back in the car and close the door, resting my hand on the gearshift but unwilling to start the car back up. Skeets looks as uncomfortable with the situation as I do* Okay, executive decision. We're waiting for backup. Just because we might all be dead by tomorrow doesn't mean this has to be a suicide mission.* *Skeets notices something in the rearview mirror and turns around to look - I do the same, and see a small dust cloud in the distance* Look at that - we might already have help.

*I get back out and walk around to the back of the car to see who it is* Oh hey - sorry, I don't remember your names. Is it just the two of you?

Yup. Just Mercury and I. And I'm Lady. You were Gear, yes?

Yeah, it's me and Skeets. *I motion towards the man in the car* And that - *I point at the figures and vehicles on the distant hill* - is what we're up against. Plus the other three installments around the Zone. So call me crazy, but I'm not taking that on until I have to, at least not without more help. Have you heard from the others?

The rest of the Clowns? Nope. I think they drove off a while ago. I just figured you might need some help...but not as much as you do. Holy shit.

Yeah... I'm going to try sending out a transmission, see if anyone's done with their other missions and doesn't know where to come now. *I go back to the car and grab my radio*
*general transmission rb* This is Funhouse Gear, calling all available killjoys. We have a situation here - At each compasss point of Zone 6 there's a team of something like 50 dracs and crows that need handling. Repeat - 50 at each compass point of Zone 6. If you're not doing something really freaking important right now, we need help asap. They're on a time schedule and could start moving at any moment. Reply if you're on your way. Gear signing off.

I hope someone shows up before we have to handle them ourselves.

*I watch the killjoys for a while, noting when the second car arrives, but eventually lose interest. They're taking too long. If I was on my own I'd just go down there myself, but orders are to stay with the crates. I sigh, then hand the binoculars to Red* See the four down there? Describe to me their likely weaknesses and attack strategies, and how you'd fight them.

*I take the binoculars and stare at the two cars for a minute, thinking. Then I began writing on the notepad:
Possible Killjoy Weapons: handguns, projectiles, bombs (homemade?), the cars themselves
Weaknesses: Lack of resources, training, backup
Killjoy Attack Strategy: Will attack by stealth at night (most likely on foot) from as many different directions as possible OR they will wait for backup and form a direct charge (day or night). Unlikely to use explosives due to proximity of beatles.
Crow Group Attack Strategy: (1) Send out six cars, three for each Killjoy vehicle, and chase down the cars immedietly. Shoot their tires, run them off the road, and disarm. Destroy all Killjoy gear the their vehicles. (2) Wait for them to attack and disarm/destroy by sheer force of numbers. Could allow for reinforcements. (3) Release beatles now, attack becomes secondary.
Crow Personal Attack Strategy (1 or 2 people): Sneak up to Killjoys on foot when the sun goes down and attack. Relies on handgun/ hand-to-hand combat abilities.
The sooner we attack the BETTER
*I underline the last sentence and then go back to using the binoculars as I had the notepad to Max. I can see the figures moving around, talking to each other, planning like we are*

*I quickly read the paper* Very good. You missed two possibilities, though. First, they may attack directly before nightfall even if they don't get reinforcements, if they believe the beattles will be released soon. They wouldn't be much trouble if that were to occur, even if you factor in the unpredictability that comes with panic.
Secondly, if we were to deal with them immediately they would be certain to send out a distress call before we could contain them, thus increasing their numbers. If we leave them be, there's a chance that reinforcement would never arrive, being occupied at the other three sites.
As for our options, I'd rather we just set off the beattles now and be done with it, but for whatever reason they want it coordinated.

*glares up at the Crows* You know, I can't put my finger on it, but I think I recognize one of them.
