I guess they just decided to pave over the ruins and build new cities.

By that logic, maybe New York's still around. If it is, I'm gonna want to visit it someday. -smiles- ...New York? -sigh- I know you were literally living underground, kid, but New York City was one of the biggest cities in the whole world, much less America. My dad used to work there. I used to go there on school trips to Broadwxy.

Kinda. It'd be better than not knowing. But, seriously, Blackie. -catches up easily- ((I'm pretty pro at speedwalking)) You think New York's still around, like LA is? -glances around- I used to wanted so badly to visit it. -shakes head- What was it like? Before it was, you know...underground? All I could see was what they showed us on TV, which was mostly just the Hollywood sign. -grimace- Never actually visited 'til now.

I hope so, I remember going there to visit a close friend of mine who I've known forever, I hope she's ok, I haven't heard from her for a long time now.

Oh yeah...you told me about having a friend there once or twice. And going to see the Green Day musical. -laughs- I still wish they'd made an MCR one.

Well, I can barely talk. I've only been to Broadwxy, Time's Square, and Chinatown. That's less than half the city. -eyes widen- Whoa! Really?! Yup. Place is huge.

*smiles* yea that would have been shiny if they did. And from what I remember, new York was the exact opposite of Battery City. There was bright lights, color, lots of people having fun... *frowns* but if BLI is anything to go by, all of that is probably gone.
